Looked for a sub place and decided to try this one based on a few recent reviews. Called in the pick up order and the young man was courteous and reviewed my order before hanging up. This place is located in a regular strip mall and nothing remarkable about the inside. At first, I noticed that there wasn’t anyone there at 6:00 pm, so was a little concerned. That being said, my order was just being packaged within the 15 mins they quoted. The young man was nice and confirmed my order. I took our meals (cheesesteaks, 1/2 lb cheeseburger and grilled chicken all with a side and drink.) We all liked our meals. I recommend trying this place for a not too fancy but good place to get a bite.

Went on a Saturday night for dinner for our first time. We were sadly the only customers there the whole time. Cashier was patient and answered questions about the menu (which is expansive lots of options). Food was good and fresh. Service was good and restaurant clean. Will definitely visit again. Oh, and the tzaziki sauce is some of the best I’ve had! The dill tasted fresh!

I’m sorry but this can’t be the same place I use to eat at 3 times a week 10yrs ago! We didn’t like any of our food, they must be under new management. I use to love their chicken and ranch, those wings had no taste to them besides old grease and that ranch was nasty. I doubt I’ll ever eat here again. I should of known the food wasnt going to be right when all the pictures of people that were on the wall were no longer there.

6/16/23. A group of 20 of my sewing group ate at Mr G’s, trying out the restaurant under new ownership. A couple of mix ups, when one of our guys got someone’s vegetarian gyro. Got that quickly solved, and he decided that it was delicious too! Hot onion rings with real onion, great gizzard, pork chops, fish sandwich, hamburgers. All was fresh and hot from the kitchen and great service! We are very happy with the new “Mr G’s”, even though we miss Bill and the crew who had served us so well over the years. We will be back!!

Wasn’t to pleased by my selections. The mayo on the Philly tasted more like sour cream. The bread wasn’t the best at holding the sandwich together either. Also the wings that where 2 drumettes a wing section with tip and a full wing. Were drenched in a basic Buffalo sauce. That leaked out the delivery container which made a mess. They also could have been fried a little bit longer.

Although it has been at least 8 years since I’ve eaten here . I’ll say this the quality of the food is basic .it’s absolutely not the same as I remember however the staff are very friendly and helpful. I ordered the hot dog plate with fries ,and a side order of calabash shrimp it was hot .especially the shrimp the hot dogs were good at best .check them out .

Dear Mr. G’s Team,
I am a local business owner in the Monroe area and have been dining at Mr. G’s Grill regularly for both lunch and dinner. I have even started bringing my children to enjoy meals there. As an easygoing person, I have always appreciated your wings, which is why I consistently order them.
However, today’s experience was one of the worst I have had at any restaurant. Hoping to try something different, I ordered a Philly cheesesteak with only mayo and ketchup. When I returned to my office and opened my meal, I found it to be mostly bread with very little meat—a disappointing sight for a $16 meal that included a sandwich, fries, and a drink.
I decided to return the meal and requested to replace it with my usual wings, offering to return the sandwich and fries. To my surprise, Marco informed me that replacing the meal would waste money and insisted that I pay for the wings again. Despite explaining that I am a consistent customer who regularly supports your business, he refused to accommodate my request.
I am very unhappy with this response and am still confounded by how a business would rather lose a loyal, consistent client than the $16 cost of a single meal. This experience warrants a 1-star review, and I regret to inform you that I will no longer be spending my money at Mr. G’s Grill.
