We absolutely love coming here! As a local to Watauga, there is no better customer service than here! As a parent it’s nice to have a place to come and unwind and still be able to bring our little one! It’s nice to kick back with a delicious margarita and let the kiddo run their energy out on the many activities they have for the kiddos! This place has so many different flavors that rotate so keeps flavors fresh! Not to mention this place actually lets you sample before you buy!! Like what!!?? Why would you not want to come here!? Needless to say of your just looking for a place to kick back and have a drink or if you’re just wanting fast service on the go they even have a speedy drive through!! RUN don’t walk to your local Mr.Froze and treat yourself!!!

With three young kids, Mr. Froze has become one of our favorite weekend spots. When it’s too hot or too cold outside, this is the perfect place for them to run around and burn off energy. They always have a blast, and we love being able to sit at the patio chairs and play little games like duck, duck, goose or red light, green light on the turf together.
The vibe is super relaxed and family-friendly. I do wish they had a food menu , but they offer snacks, and we usually grab a meal on the way, then head here so the kids can play. Honestly, I hope they never close, this has quickly become one of our kiddos’ favorite places, and it’s such a great local hangout.

This place is perfect especially if you wanted to sit around and have a drink and have kids. They’ve got a little playground and connect four and Jenga. Everybody is really polite and everything is very clean. The flavors are amazing. I definitely recommend!

I came here with my kiddos and enjoyed the service and atmosphere. The service was good, atmosphere was casual. I tried The Mexican Antojitos food and didn’t really like it- but that’s not their food- just a food truck. I wish they had more food options. Very kid friendly as they have a playground! I would come again.

My family and I were waiting for takeout from across the street when I decided to walk over and get a margarita. When I walked in, the place looked cool but was empty. I didn’t see an employee for a few seconds, then a girl appears behind the counter. She didn’t greet me, say hello, welcome me to the business, or ask if I wanted any assistance. I don’t mind too much but it would have been nice if someone would have helped me with a drink choice, as all the drinks have names, with no explanation at to what’s in them.
After I received my drink, I asked if me, my wife, and daughter could eat our food in there. I was told “no, because we used to let people eat here, and they would leave their trash”. I said “no worries” and left. However… this is my issue…. The place is empty. I’m sure you want more business. I might have bought a second drink if my family and I were allowed to hang out and eat our food. So what if someone leaves a wrapper. They could also leave their empty cup on the table? Just clean it, you work there, and I’m sure the owner wants people at his establishment that will spend money. If they’re just coming there to eat, I would understand. But for paying customers? I don’t understand.
I won’t be back, because there are other places that will accommodate their customers.

Great addition to the Watauga area. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, they offer samples before you order. Definitely a fan of the Uncle Snoop, Pinche Colada, and The Hulk. They also offer Jell-O shots and non-alcoholic margaritas.
Atmosphere is family friendly. You can hang out, try Food Trucks, or play games. They have a playground for the kiddos too. Definitely check them out!

Top Yelp comment was a complaint of too many kids, so that’s where I took the kids to play when I needed to get out and beat the heat. The kids had a great time, I had a great time meeting other toddler parents and having a drink without judgement. Nothing super fancy, the drinks aren’t even great, but the service is friendly and the environment is peak North Texas. Guys just finished with a round of golf, a family starting their weekend, a handful of stay at home parents, a book club. Everyone just unwinding and letting kids be kids. Happy Hour in the early afternoon was a plus, and Pokemon Go wasn’t half bad.
