First impressions are everything and no one was smiling or said hello when I walked in, just stared like weirdos (even I said Hi first with a smile) and then the girl who took my order has this weird vibe about her, she’s talking to you like she’s rushing you even if you already say you have never been here before. This isn’t even about the food I just won’t be coming back based on customer service lol. literally go across the side walk to sailing poke bowl or something much better!

I’ve been to many Mr empanda…. This is the first time I was not too happy.
Usually pay 4 of a kind $15 w tax.
Here its $17. Told different owners.
Usually empandas are steaming hot and the meat and cheese pouring out at every bite and need a spoon sometimes but here they were warm… called in order at 1232 and paid 1249 they shouldn’t be this cold maybe they’re prepared before hand idk or didn’t cook long enough because they’re not toasty at all.
Anyways I won’t be back!

First visit to this specific location. Ordered what I always get, chef salad, even tipped up front. My to go order was very poorly and sloppily made. I should have known since it was ready 10 seconds after I ordered it. Didn’t even give me bread. I will not return to this location. Town N Country and Drew Park locations are way better and provide better service and food. This is why you should never tip up front before you have been completely serviced. Today’s salad was horrible compared to what I am used to getting from Mr Empanada.

Ordered 2 Sausage and Cheese empanada, 2 crab meat empanada and black bean soup. Received 2 deviled crabs which were not fresh and had little crabmeat. Contacted establishment and female was non apologetic and snippy. Theor business must be doing so well that it doesnt need to keep loyal business.

Good stuff. I’ve stopped at many Mr Empanada locations. Consistently dependable. Hot and good. The new Cuban sandwich is really good too. This one is tucked away in the shopping center, corner space. Easy to miss. It’s worth the effort to find it.

In my many visits I have yet to find a reason to take away a star. 2 things surprised me…they make a cuban sandwich as good or better than many latin markets and the flavor of their crab empanada is so spot on authentic they compare to some I’ve had in the carribean albeit they are smaller. Good place for a quick bite or sit outside and enjoy the weather.
