My very first time going here today. Group of 3 and we ordered a good amount of food. We waited like 15 minutes and the food amount was great for the price. The front lady was very nice and patient. One thing I do everytime I go to a food spot that has “spicy” food I ask for it 3x spicier. They say they can do it but never actually can or do it and has no spice at well they did that for me and I was very happy with my spicy tofu. In doors isn’t updated but those end up being the best places. Definitely recommend and will say better then other towns and spots I’ve been too.

Barf. I eat here once every 5 or 8 years and it’s always worse than the last time I remembered it being. Eggroll is in the name of the business. You would think theor egg rolls would be good and they were, back in the 1990’s. Now they’re pencil thin, hollowed out mush. The meat is just as slimy as I remember it but now woth less flavor. The “fried rice” is just. Brown pile of wet slop. The soup tastes like your average hot and sour soup that you’d find in a low quality restaurant. The Rangoons were ok. I’d pass on this place and honestly I oy ate here today because the Thai place nearby that I wanted to go to was unexpectedly closed today. What a wast of $25.00. It’s also freezing in here. Did they forget to pay the heat bill?

Oh my word!!! The best Chinese food in the midwest!!! The rice was fresh the beef was phenomenal! I never had broccoli beef without having to add soy sauce since I was a child! The beef egg roll looked more like a spring roll buy still sooooo flavorful!! The crab ragoon was creamy!! The potstickers were dry but very yum!! Moo goo gai pan was delightful fresh ingredients. The spicy hot oil was perfect!! The hot and sour soup was spicy but fresh. The egg drop soup was the clearest most flavorful best tasting I have ever had! Great job Mr. Egg Roll!!

You get what you’d expect to get at a Chinese fast food place. For $18, we got 2 meals with rice, 2 egg rolls, and 2 soups. It had good flavor, it was hot, and the portions were generous. I do wish the jalapeño chicken had more chicken than it did, but it was still tasty. My first visit was Feb 2021, and I’ll for sure stop back.

Ordered the sesame chicken no extras.
The side of rice included leaves more to be desired. It’s not up to what I would expect a highly recommended Chinese establishment would offer, not sure if their fried rice platters are different, but I’ve had better rice out of a microwave packet.

The chicken however, was amazing. Crusted amazingly, great tasting sauce served piping hot fresh out of the kitchen.

The included egg roll added some extra crunch but did not enhance the meal at all.

Wednesday at 11am. Had the Empress Pork lunch. It came with an eggroll and soup- I chose hot/sour soup.

They were offering dine in seating with tables appropriately spaced. Plastic barrier between counter and staff. Staff wearing masks. Pleasant greeting and easy to order.

Food delicious! Nice crispy eggroll, soup had the heat I like, generous (plenty for 2 adults) main dish. The pork had delightful crunchy batter- light, crisp and all around yummy. Fluffly fresh fried rice.

It will become a staple for me. Less than $10 (I had bottled water too) enough for 2 meals, ready quick, extensive menu, close to work. Yay!!!

*p.s. We had a delivery from Door Dash that was pretty bad. I think due to being cold and mushy upon arrival so not necessarily blaming Mr Eggroll. But- we will definitely eat in, or pick up ourselves going forward.

I had heard this place was decent, so I decided to try it tonight, and wow, was I disappointed. I ordered the Mongolian beef and crab Rangoon. The total was $14.35, which seemed insane to me, but thought maybe it would be an outstanding meal. Just the opposite.. the food was not good, there was sauce spilled all over, there were hard pieces of noodles and fatty beef that I could not eat (as well as the crab rangoons that were not filled very well) and the egg roll was tiny. I will never go back and would not recommend this place to any friends or family.
