We’ve been loyal customers of Mr. Crab for years, but our experience today was extremely disappointing. We ordered crawfish, mussels, sausage, shrimp, potatoes, and corn with the spicy house sauce, and everything was bland and sloppy. There was absolutely no flavor and no spice at all.
Our food total was $177.00, plus a $15.67 service charge and a $37.00 tip, which made the experience even more frustrating. To make matters worse, we ended up feeling sick afterward.
Sadly, this visit did not meet the standards we’ve enjoyed in the past, and we won’t be returning.

Wow–great flavor and portions! Do NOT judge a book by its cover. Our food was seasoned very well, and the light, crispy batter and fresh ingredients and oil are so hard to find.
We enjoyed the catfish basket– which included oysters and shrimp too!– and the lobster roll’s tender, buttery taste. (The roll was served with spinach sauteed in garlic, and the basket came with plenty of dipping choices: dill sauce, cocktail sauce, thousand island sauce, hot sauce, and ketchup.)
The space is clean and roomy, and the staff is friendly.

Fried Catfish is excellent . Well seasoned and real catfish. Manager came out to check on us. They let us know they change to oil often which is why it is so fresh. This is my 3rd visit this week. Food always good. Frozen margaritas are good also.

everything was very good !!! really enjoyed the wings and cajun fries as well as okra and our server was beyond amazing making sure we had anything and kept our drinks filled only problem i did have which took off a star was we asked for no tomatoes on his burger which is understandable the guy who was our server was really busy so it’s totally okay since it wasn’t a reason like an allergy

My husband and I stopped by after Googling places to eat near us (we were visiting from out of town). We were not disappointed with our choice!!! The wait staff was kind and informative. The seafood was excellent and everything came out quick and very tasty. The portions were generous and it was a fair price for the quality. The next time we are in town we will for sure make a trip back here.

Fried fish is really good! The batter is super crispy. Shrimp was fresh. Flavor was good. Not a big fan of the paste like sauce on the shrimp but it was good if that’s what you like consistency wise.

I really wanted to enjoy this place, but the experience fell short. I ordered calamari that was so overcooked it was basically inedible. I politely sent it back and was told they “couldn’t do anything” about it — no refund, no replacement, nothing.
Mistakes happen, but refusing to correct them and still making customers pay isn’t good business. I left disappointed and won’t be returning. Hopefully they improve their policy and customer service going forward.

This place deserves an EXTRA STAR! We were greeted properly & she was very kind. We LOVE that they’re very conscious about the pandemic, that they do a scan check on each & every customer & does social distancing. Secondly, they have wide verity to choose from & they’ll make the menu to your taste. They try to save you money! This place has EXCELLENT food & drinks! THIS IS A GO TO SPOT!
