I came in looking for a quick meal with my kid. I asked to have the kids spaghetti and meatballs ordered while I continued to look through the menu for my dinner. I specifically mentioned how hungry and tired my toddler was. After about 7-8 minutes, I was finally ready to place my order and did. We ran to the car quickly and on our way back inside, the server stopped to ask me which side I wanted for the kids meal (which I had asked to be made almost 10 minutes ago at this point). Both of our meals came out at the same time. My kid ate a little of the spaghetti but was too tired to eat at that point. I ordered the crab cake sandwich, which was mediocre at best. It’s literally a bun and the cake. Nothing else. I asked for a piece of lettuce, and they brought it out right away. My biggest gripe is them not putting my kids’ food in when I asked. Hungry toddlers are not fun. I would not return for dinner, but I would give breakfast a try. Can’t really mess eggs and bacon up.

Corned beef hash with two eggs was really satisfying. Not huge, just perfect sized. Decaf coffee was excellent. I’d come back for sure. Service was excellent, friendly and welcoming.

Fast seating. Even thru we arrived at a rush our wait was short. Our waitress was very considerate even under the pressure of the rush. The coffee was excellent not like the weak stuff you would get at a diner. The scrapple was well price for the thick deep fried slice we got. Was the rush was over it was a quieter atmosphere.

Waitress took a minute to get to our table, even though we were the only family in the restaurant however show did redeem herself by the end of our meal. The food is the saving grace of this place . I went in for the Chip Beef Gravy but it was after 11am so they stopped serving breakfast which to me you gotta do breakfast all day especially if it’s a big seller like the waitress told me the Chip Beef was but due to the time they shut breakfast down. Although that was a bummer I ordered Chicken Alfredo and it was great , nice flavor , not too saucy just perfect ratio of noodle to sauce. We were visiting from upper Maryland so next time I’ll try the Chip Beef and make it for breakfast. The family and I will be back . Our salads were fresh and came out immediately after ordering.

Mon n Pop must try and it will not disappoint. Tasty crab cake sandwich, soft shell crab sandwich, clam chowder and the best crab chowder/soup I had.

We went twice in a week, once when busy and once when not so busy. Service was better the first time, but again, they were pretty busy the second time.

We were in Chincoteague last week and had breakfast every morning at this restaurant. All of our meals were very good. Wait staff was very accommodating, meals were served quickly and the food was good. Eggs were very large (over easy), delicious sausage and bacon, good iced tea. Omelets were large and full.

Meal was decent, definitely a step up from the breakfast spot next to the jerky store. It’s been tough trying to get something as simple as pancakes done right. They were okay but still way too thick and looked like they were starting to burn on the bottom. Scrapple was not good, no flavor. French toast was good and my husband said his dry looking breakfast sandwich was tasty. If you need a basic breakfast this place will do. No ambiance or decor at all. Everything just basic, I guess they know they’ll make money no matter what.

Our waitresses were very friendly. Our fish and chips were tasty. Fries were perfect, not real salty. We liked the scraps of paper customers put under glass table tops showing their names, towns, and states of residence. Nice bright yellow walls and friendly waitresses gave a cheery vibe. Menu had lots of comfort foods.
