Placed an order online and got there around the time it said to pick up. When I got there the cashier said five more minutes but I sat for at least 20 mins extra. Once I got back to my place of residence to check out my food, it was not was I expected or paid for. The lobster tail was fried so hard and in old grease for what it appeared. The shrimp not fried hard enough the breading was coming off in my mouth, yuck! The fish wasn’t to my desires either. Fries greasy and soggy. The boiled eggs tasteless as well. Overall experience not a good one. Too bad I didn’t place my order through door dash probably would be the only way I can get my money back. Will not support here again though.

No one needs to hear your back story or smart mouth about what they paid for and can’t get no reimbursement on. I most definitely will not eat here again. Old grease, old grease, old grease!!!! Run…$25.99 for food fried in old grease. This food is the worst I’ve gotten in 8 years in North Carolina. The one in Charlotte is much better. I would return this slop, but it’s black owned! I will never go back. The hot sauce in the packets was black and old. This is a tin room, not a bar. Do better!

Had the opportunity to check out this location and was completely satisfied. The manager and staff were beyond welcoming and accommodating. The food portions were appropriate to their pricing. Decent menu selection of both food and drinks. Looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommended

Haven’t been here for 5 years and I must say the restaurant has kind of gone down. It’s not as neat. They desperately need a deep clean. Especially where you order it’s an open kitchen.Went for the Friday seafood boil special. I was not asked what kind of spice or sauce I would like. They just gave me a mix I guess. Food was okay.Hot and ready.I just didn’t enjoy my shrimp not being deviled. Customer service was excellent.

One of my favorite places in Gastonia. Portions are huge, prices are great for what you get and the service is always friendly. Inside is always clean and no odor like one would expect from a seafood place. If you haven’t tried Mr3’s yet you’re really missing out. 15/10 ⭐️’s highly recommend.

I stopped, as this was my first time visiting after seeing a lot of advertising on social media. The young man at the counter was very friendly, and recommended the special. $7 Crab leg cluster, and .75 Shrimp ( had to order at least 10) The food was hot and the flavor was good. I like mine a little more garlicky but I’ll let them know next time. The restaurant was well. It could use a little cleaning, but it was ok.

This was our 1st time trying the Gastonia restaurant but it was disappointing both of us thought the food needed more seasoning. Whoever plated my Alfredo put all the pasta water in the box. It looked pretty but tasted watered down and needed more seasoning. My husband didn’t enjoy his fish and shrimp either and his fries were cold. I think it’s probably best to order the steamed seafood. The drinks however were amazing as always. We will not take the drive to Gastonia but will patronize the restaurant in Charlotte. We really wanted to enjoy this place since we visited with our infant and wanted to sit down which was the reason we drove to Gastonia but they also don’t have high chairs.

Great music, laid back atmosphere, outdoor bar area, outdoor seating and employees were so nice and welcoming!
My daughter-in-law made the comment, “you know the food’s good when it hits the table all conversation stops!” Couldn’t have said it better!

Truly love Mr3s a lot I usually get a seafood boil with only crab leg clusters but sometimes I switch it up and get the steak dinner; side of corn, potato, and pork sausage. Also bought a side of the Seafood Mac n Cheese and an extra corn. I believe that the meat inside the Mac was imitation crab meat as a child I’d probably enjoy it but it wasn’t all that. You can taste “the grill” as you bite into your steak. Sometimes the steak is cooked just how you like it and other it’s just dry and too “well done.” So overall it was a 4/5 which isn’t terrible but I wish the Mac & Cheese was a bit better and the steak not so charred then it would be perfect 5/5.

This place is small and is VERY limited by way of service. I suggest taking all orders to go. You have to “go looking” for the bar area which is outside and around the corner. The restrooms are tiny and not well kept. There was one guy who took our order and payment, cooked our food and served us. There are no frills or thrills so if you eat in DO NOT expect things such as napkins, hand wipes or even crab crackers for the shells. You get a plastic fork and a white styrofoam to go tray. Very limited drinks. They have lemonade and canned cokes without ice. Now, with ALL that being said, the food itself is great! The crab legs and other seafood are fresh and the seasoning was well done. I would eat there ten times over (just not inside). This place is WELL worth a try and a great go to for real seafood and the price is awesome!
