Potential! Clean up the sitting area. Chairs have awful stains. The vibe in the patio area (if cleaned) seems nice. It could really be a hidden gem. Owners.. Contact me for partnership. This place would be great if revamped and business hours changed. Food was great our server was professional and apologized for the “mess”

Old grease, old grease, old grease!!!! Run…$25.99 for food fried in old grease. This food is the worst I’ve gotten in 8 years in North Carolina. The one in Charlotte is much better. I would return this slop, but it’s black owned! I will never go back. The hot sauce in the packets was black and old. This is a tin room, not a bar. Do better!

Food is good, but they can’t seem to follow directions. I ask for one person’s order to be plain, no sauce. I get there, and all of the orders have no sauce on them. I checked the receipt, and only one dinner was supposed to be no sauce. This happened twice, so I just go to the one in Charlotte. They know how to follow order instructions.

Service was great and the price for the food was not bad at all. Definitely worth the money because the food was great! Anybody going definitely needs to get the seafood Mac and cheese!!

Would definitely be back. Staff was very informative and friendly. The seafood platter is beyond delicious. The corn in it was dripping good, potato buttery good, nice amount of crab. Only down side of it was shrimp was way over cooked and not a fan of legs being on it. Also tried the salmon and shrimp Alfredo and will not get again. The salmon was a huge piece which was awesome. But the pasta was overcooked that it almost was slimy. It was over salty and there were 4 small shrimp which was sad next to the huge size in the platter. Overall the platter and service won over everything and will definitely try again. Already sent people too

Had the opportunity to check out this location and was completely satisfied. The manager and staff were beyond welcoming and accommodating. The food portions were appropriate to their pricing. Decent menu selection of both food and drinks. Looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommended

I was so excited to try this place but was disappointed real quick. I ordered the fish, shrimps & fries, the fish was nasty, couldn’t even eat it and it had a smell to it, yes I know fish smells but not like this, the fries were undercooked & oily. The better part was the shrimps but that was $20 dollars for couple of shrimps? I’ll pass!

This was our 1st time trying the Gastonia restaurant but it was disappointing both of us thought the food needed more seasoning. Whoever plated my Alfredo put all the pasta water in the box. It looked pretty but tasted watered down and needed more seasoning. My husband didn’t enjoy his fish and shrimp either and his fries were cold. I think it’s probably best to order the steamed seafood. The drinks however were amazing as always. We will not take the drive to Gastonia but will patronize the restaurant in Charlotte. We really wanted to enjoy this place since we visited with our infant and wanted to sit down which was the reason we drove to Gastonia but they also don’t have high chairs.

Friendly service, pretty good fried seafood plates. Some of the menu items are a little pricey for what you get IMO. They serve beer and specialty lemonades, I think there is a bar in the back as well. Interior is very small and toasty, which is nice with this cold weather.
