Thanks Chefs and bartenders The masterpieces of food and drinks were so deliciously delightful I am craving it already. Thanks for making my days before and after bringing in the New Years so flavorful and entertaining. Every dish was perfecto. I was so addicted I went at least three times again for it. Payton welcomed me with a big smile and beautiful spirit, Ron great personality and I appreciated the meaningful conversation that we had. Kiara is such a sweetheart and Jules is so strong and I am proud of you. Great service for sure from all.

This restaurant offers a wonderfully elegant vibe, perfect for special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries. The atmosphere felt upscale yet welcoming, creating the right mood for a memorable celebration. It was impressive to see a full menu dedicated to vegan and vegetarian options, including a generous spread of appetizers, mains, and sides that truly catered to diverse tastes.During the 3-6 pm happy hour, we enjoyed our first visit and felt thoroughly cared for by Victoria, our attentive server, who made the experience smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. We tried the vegan popstickers (9/10), glazed Brussels sprouts (9/10), and vegan ramen (8/10) — all delivering excellent flavors and presentation. The desserts were equally delightful and a perfect way to end the meal. The only minor disappointment was the classic margarita, which could use some improvement to match the quality of the food and service. Speaking of service, it was flawless at 10/10, thanks to Victoria’s exceptional care. We were so impressed that we purchased a gift card along with an extra bonus, looking forward to our next visit.

I love Moxies! I have been to both the Plano & Dallas locations and both have been incredible. Phenomenal atmosphere, service, food & drinks!! The Dallas location accommodated a group of 10 last minute and were so amazing to us. The Plano location took great care of a group of 5 of us! Jaz at the Plano location was such a good server, we love her! Highly highly recommend this restaurant. The hot crab dip, crab cake, sushi tower, steak bites, French onion soup, chicken rigatoni, blackened mahi mahi, and filet mignon are all 1000000000/10

This place is a HIGHLY RECOMMEND hidden gem. Brianna, the very nice hostess, greeted us at the door and sat us. We were then waited on by Victoria who did a great job and was very attentive. The manager (female) and the head chef also stopped by our table to check on us. The chef was incredibly knowledgeable. The food presentation and taste is top tier (definitely get the filet with the mushroom sauce). Our daughter got the kid’s rigatoni with red meat sauce and it was AMAZING. I got the Chicken Madiera Mushroom Rigatoni bowl and WOW! So much flavor! Loved the fresh parmesan cheese! We’ll definitely be returning!

Consistency is key- and Moxi’s slaps every time! Every appetizer and entree we’ve had has never disappointed. The fried chicken sandwich is one of the best in town, the Thai dish also is a winner. And the steak bites are award winning! Unfortunately on this visit our server Victoria was having an off night. Not very attentive, service was lacking.

The place is well decorated and looks like a great date night spot. The food was also pretty good and price wasn’t bad at all, considering the ambiance. However, service here was terrible, especially the hostess who wasn’t even at her station when we walked in and was nowhere to be found for over 10 minutes. When she finally showed up, there was no apology or explanation, and she simply directed us to our table. Similarly, the waitress didn’t come by for quite some time nor did she bring waters until we had already ordered. After that, she was ok but wasn’t exactly attentive after the orders were placed. This place could have been so much better, but their lack of service ruins any potential thought of coming back ever again or recommending to anyone.

We recently had dinner at Moxies and overall enjoyed the experience. For appetizers, we tried the chicken lettuce wraps and the French onion soup—both were delicious and a great start to the meal.
For dinner, my wife had the shrimp tacos and really enjoyed them. I ordered the ribeye steak, which was fine, but I’d probably stick to a dedicated steakhouse when it comes to steak.
The atmosphere was nice, and the service was attentive. Overall, Moxies is a solid spot for a night out, especially if you’re looking for good appetizers and a variety of options on the menu.

Very Good Food, Service Lapses: Opportunity for Improvement at a Premium Establishment
Last night I dined solo at the bar around 9:00 PM. Moxies is known for its chic, upscale atmosphere and premium pricing, which sets a high expectation for the entire dining experience. While the kitchen delivered very good food, the service had notable lapses.
My Meal (Food was Very Good):
Appetizer: Pot Stickers
Entrée: Rigatoni Chicken Madeira
Dessert: Toffee Pudding
Constructive Critique of the Service:
The service issues appeared to stem from an extremely busy bartender; she was hustling the entire time, likely resulting in the following:
Attentiveness: Service felt slow. I was not checked on after receiving my appetizer or entrée.
Beverage Service: After I finished my cocktail, I was not offered a second drink, requiring me to actively seek the bartender’s attention.
Inventory Issues: When I finally ordered a beer from the menu, I was told it, along with two other selections, was unavailable—a significant inconvenience for a restaurant with a dedicated bar program.
End-of-Night Shortcuts: At 10:00 PM, an hour before closing, I was asked, “Are you done?” rather than being offered dessert or coffee. When I requested the Toffee Pudding and coffee, I was told coffee was unavailable because it was close to closing. Closing the coffee service so far ahead of the restaurant closing time is disappointing.
Conclusion: The food quality is very good and satisfying. However, for a premium-priced establishment, consistency in service is critical. It would be beneficial for management to review staffing levels and training protocols to ensure the entire customer experience meets the high standard that Moxies’ reputation suggests.
