Chill Clientele. Pleasant bar tender and funny. A nice selection of beers and spirits. I enjoyed a awesome afternoon listening to some sweet vinyl the bartender was playing. That was a bonus. I would visit again.

This bar was recommended to me by a friend, and we went to celebrate a friend’s 21st birthday expecting a fun dive-bar atmosphere. Instead, the experience was extremely uncomfortable. Our entire group was of legal age (between 21–25), yet the bartenders immediately accused multiple people of having fake IDs and spoke to us very rudely, including cussing at us. What made the situation worse was that the bartenders only directed these comments toward the women in our group and did not question or speak to the men the same way, which felt sexist and unprofessional. We were made to feel unwelcome from the moment we walked in. Because of the atmosphere and how we were treated, I would not recommend this place to others and won’t be returning.

Went there to celebrate my 21st with my friends, but instead got yelled and sweared at by the bartender and the other customers for a “fake id” that is my genuine id. All of us are of the legal age but we got berated and cussed out. Very disappointed with the atmosphere

This bar is super fun! We were there earlier in the evening around 6 or so. It wasn’t super busy but the bartender was super fun and funny. It doesn’t have food other than pizza.

Im just glad that the Mousetrap is still thriving and the crowd is still heads and the music is still available for artists and freaks to enjoy. Ive seen many bands there for over 25 yrs. My hippie family would like to inquire about open mic and soul medicine. Thanks for the faithful cooperation with the kind service.

Visited Eau Claire for the first time and decided to pop in here. First of all love the vibe here and the prices can’t be beat. Megan is an absolute pro at bartending and I wish she was a bartender back in my home town. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone I know coming here to visit.
