The main downside is the wait time, which can be long, so I’d recommend placing your order 15–20 minutes ahead. For parking, there’s usually free street parking on East Dr., or you can park at the nearby gas station.
Chicken Noodles was full of turmeric that leaked along with oil into complete package , who adds turmeric in noodles I still wonder & egg was not fried properly had bad smell.
Fried Rice was full of green peas & big chunks of chicken this too was bad.
Chilly chicken one should dare to call it chilly chicken big pieces of chicken just tossed in Sauce.
Just got looted by trusting their ratings could not eat anything.
No one in the truck speaks English , cannot understand Hindi either so no way to make them understand what you need.
The ChickenTikka Masala – sauce is creamy, smooth, a bit on the sweet side and you can taste tomatoes. I would have like a bit more garlicky / robust spice but it is still good. Service is very good and Simran – she is very nice and good at suggestive selling and helping you pick the right stuff
I ordered butter chicken and samosas which came 2 to the order. The butter chicken came with rice. The sauce was very fragrant, nicely spiced, and it had a subtle sweetness. It was filled with cubed chicken. The chicken was a little tough, but it did not detract from the excellent flavor. The rice was light and fluffy. I like the sauce enough that I feel like I could eat it over rice, like rice and gravy.
The samosas were cooked fresh when I placed my order. These are the biggest samosas I have ever eaten. They were triangular, with round, bulging middles. The filling was well mashed (but not pureed), perfectly compacted, and very flavorful. Of note, there were not too many green peas. I’m not a fan of those, and their sparse distribution was appreciated. The dough was thin, crisp, and not greasy. It was served with a small cup of spicy sauce. Yum!
*no rating for atmosphere because I ordered to go. This is a food truck in an Exxon gas station parking lot, on Guadalupe St, just north of campus. There’s a couple of picnic tables. It’s not set up for atmosphere.
