Don’t let the gas station location fool you—Mountie Shack is a hidden gem for anyone craving a high-quality, fresh meal on the go.
I tried the shawarma, chicken tenders, and their fresh hummus, and I was seriously impressed. Unlike many quick-service spots, everything here is made fresh and never from frozen, and you can really taste the difference in the quality. The shawarma was flavorful, and the tenders were perfectly cooked.

As a few others have noted, don’t be fooled by it being attached to a gas station.
The food and service in incredible, especially for what you pay for. I can’t help but think of Guy Fieri’s Diners Drive-Ins and Dives. A fairly innocuous location where the food is delicious.

Never expected such great food in a gas station! The chicken shawarma was fantastic. And the homemade hummus was delish. All their chicken is cooked from fresh never frozen. They are so nice and so appreciative of their customers. Definitely give it a try! You will not regret it!

I work across the street and always hear amazing things, but I’m just not from here so I’ve never had the chance to try it. Until yesterday. When muuultiple people at work gave me their orders, i was super worried that it was going to end up being $80+
but it was only around $40. That in itself is a reason to come back. But top it with incredible customer service and some of the best chicken I’ve had since I’ve moved to this state??? I completely understand why my coworkers sneak off to get food from here everyday because I ended up back in there again too. I highly recommend giving it a try!!! Emphasis on the incredible customer service too!!! Sometimes a conversation can make someone’s day, pair it with great food and this place sure makes ours 🙂

The service and manners of Zane and the staff there is ama,ing good vibes and attitude, The food is AMAZING , the fried chicken,perfection loos line out of a movie. And the Shwarma wrap will immediately put a smile on both your face and your belly. If your in the area do yourself a favor and go try there Shwarma.

We were incredibly impressed with the food and prices at The Mountie Shack! Everything was hot and fresh and very good. The place is inside the BP there not far off I-85 and at 161. They do breakfast all day, weekly specials and most of the American home cooking and sandwich classics you’d expect at a little family restaurant. We’ll be back. Courteous service too!

Found this place by accident and so glad we did! The fried chicken and fries were excellent! Other food i saw looked good too. Family owned restaurant and it shows. The man behind the counter was so very nice and helpful and made us feel very welcome. I will definitely return!

I went there the other day and took a gander at the food, it looks perfect!!! Order 2 wings to go, walked around got me a drink and went back to pick up my food to where I was greeted with a over $7 bill (2 wings)!!!! It was nice sized but flavor wasn’t there until the sauce they give u matches with it!!!! You might get me once but never again!!! Family pack at the grocery store of 16 is $15 !!!! People will never learn you might work a little bit more but you won’t be sitting on products!!!!
