I love everything about this place! It’s officially our new favorite spot to eat in Ossipee. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and nostalgic, the staff was friendly, and—most importantly—the food was excellent. We’ll absolutely be back to try more of the menu.

Checked the box for a burger on the way home from hiking. Decent food but not anything to wow you or write home about. Train themed decor with a mix of NH.
The one server seemed a bit stretched and it took some time to order and pay the bill. Overall 3/5 probably won’t be back.

We drove past here on our snowmobiles and saw everyone walking in. I wish I walked in with them then. We finally went to check it out and we were blown away. This will be one of our new go to’s. The staff was great and the food was delicious. A hidden gem for sure.

This place is straight from the 1800s! The food is excellent and hardy. The only place around were you can get fried Oysters which are well made. Great crust. The Clam Chowder is the best around and the Fish and Chips is next to perfect. Service is always great and friendly. Highly recommend the experience.

Loved the whole vibe of this place! The food was amazing and our waitress was perfect! I got the steak tips with veggies and my wife got haddock with veggies and cold slaw. We will def be coming back to this place!

Amazing service. Fantastic food. What an incredibly fabulous experience. Julia, our waitress, was just plain lovely. Witty, kind, helpful, honest, AMAZING with our 7 year old daughter and just plain awesome. The food was delicious, generous portions, homemade.

We had a very nice lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was a train station in Ossippe, NH. There were 4 of us, senior citizens. We all love out meals. I had the mussels in white wine and garlic broth with the Green salad. Fresh and yummy. My husband had the steak tips. Seasoned deliciously and actually cooked rare the way he ordered them. One friend had the scallops, done perfectly. The other had the fried fish dinner. Great serving and cooked just right. Good side dish choices. The decor is done in historic RR paraphernalia and pictures of the station and town. Service was good and friendly. We would go back! BTW, Sunday’s they offer brick oven pizzas which seemed to be a hit with the locals.

Good food, nice atmosphere, good service. Set in an old railroad station, the decor is appropriately themed. The scallops were excellent and the burger was great. The wait staff is friendly and prompt. Great place for families and groups, too.

I’ve been going there for years and they always have great food and great service. I’ve tried almost all of their dishes and I haven’t found a bad dish yet. Everything is perfectly seasoned and their steak tips are always juicy and melt in your mouth. If you aren’t too full I definitely recommend the Strawberry Shortcake for dessert. It hits the spot every time.

We have been coming for years and always thought it was really good. New owners have taken it up a whole new level. Small town restaurant in old train station that serves mix of comfort food, tasty seafood dishes, and some really unique and incredible culinary options that are insanely good and well presented. Super impressed, we came with group of 6, everyone loved meals. Swordfish special, scallops Florentine, French onion soup in old school crocks, nice on tap beer selection… everyone was thrilled.
