It may not look like much on the outside, but this place is great. It’s run by a nice guy, and the cheese fries are also quite solid and taste good. As for the hot dogs, they (from the sausage to the chili to the cheese to the mashed potatoes) have this amazing texture. Like, it has this soft, embracing feel in your mouth that just leaves you with a smile on your face. And the taste is phenomenal. That’s the best way I can describe it, I personally recommend trying this place out yourself if you actually want to know what it’s like…

DELI & HOT DOG all new owners. Small little place. Wasn’t too bad. Fries were not cooked all the way. Sauce was bit spicy (they use chili) very clean tho. Service was pretty fast too. Friendly

I have been going for lunch to this Hot Dog Hut for years, and on Saturday, I was disappointed due to the increases in the prices, especially the hot dog price increase. I asked the owner where the Sabrett hot dogs were, and he stated he changed to a thicker Nathan’s hot dog. It did not compare to the thinner Sabrett’s, and now they are grilled in the back. I spent $10.00 on two hotdogs, an increase of almost $4.00. I will not be returning since I can go to J& M Grill in Boonton for a $3.00 hot dog with toppings.

The cheese fries were enough to fill me up. I chose to have cheese on the side. I also got an egg and cheese sandwich. Staff was very friendly. Gave PLENTY of ketchup and napkins without asking— A+ for service.

The guy who owns this place and is the sole worker is an awesome dude; he is SO kind and makes a WICKED breakfast sandwich!!! For 5.50, you can get a sausage, egg, and cheese on a roll — and this is no normal skimpy breakfast sandwich you get elsewhere! He uses 2 eggs and believe it or not, 2 large sausage patties on a hard roll. It’s absolutely delicious, filling to the max, and modestly priced!! The gentleman has such old school kindness and manners, that when you put your card into his credit card terminal, when it prompts for the pin number he holds the terminal out while looking down and away like an absolute gentleman!! Really nice guy, rabsolutely AWESOME food! Have had breakfast sandwiches, hotdogs, as well as cheese steak and cheese fries. All are comparably freaking awesome! You can’t go wrong at this place! I’d give it 10 stars if I could! It’s THAT GOOD!! Try the sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich!! You’re welcome!!
