My wife and I are new to this area and we have a very great friend that works there also. We decided on trying the pizza and I just would like to say this was by far one of the best pizza that I have had in a very long time. The taste was perfect, the toppings were on point and the sauce was perfect everything about the pizza was over the top with great quality toppings and the crust was perfect and the slices were nice size. I would recommend this establishment to anyone in the area or surrounding areas, this place is great in all aspects. Thank you mountain State brewing company for the best pizza in Bridgeport WV. Mr and Mrs Banks thank you derrick for the experience.

The server greeted us quickly and did a great job. I liked the pizza and the nachos appetizer. The place seemed a little out of the way but easy to find. I didn’t like the flies coming around my food but it happens. Overall it seems like a pretty good spot.

Got the Peking Tom sandwich and a ceasor salad. The sandwich was a let down to say the least. The Turkey was almost non existent and the salad was way over dressed. After speaking with the manager I was given a gift card for the price of another sandwich to make it right.

Not bad for a brewery. All the food was good. We were kind of close to closing time and service was on the slower side, employees yelling back and forth to each other across the restaurant, etc. Overall, I felt like we more or less intruded vs being a paying customer, at times. The menu needs prices on everything so youre not guessing.

Food was good but the service was almost non-existent. Waitress in red did not care about my family and I from the beginning. Only one refill, I am usually a 3-4 beer kind of guy, but after I finished my first one I was never asked for a refill. I think the final straw was when she sat drinks down on our table that was for the people behind us. I understand we all have bad days but this time was a little ridiculous. Food was great though.

Located right by the highway, great location with good views. There was a short wait time, but the service was very good. The bartender/waitress was very attentive and friendly. The pizzas are absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked in the wood fire oven. We tried the Fire on the Mountain pizza and totally recommend it. The margaritas were only ok, the peach flavored one was the best. I did not try the beers here, but I have heard that they are pretty good. Worth a visit, will be back here.

We stopped by on the way home. It’s conveniently located off the highway. We had a beer sampler that comes with cute little mini mugs. The beer was pretty good. We also tried the pizza Margherita and cheese pizza. They are labled as flat bread which was a little confusing. Both were good pizzas. I especially like that they followed the traditional recipe for the Margherita.
The bar tender was very attentive and we enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommend for a pit stop or to anyone that resides in the area.

The Buffalo Chicken salad was a definite highlight – the perfect balance of tangy and spicy. I also loved the unique touch of Margaritas with a hint of lavender; it added a refreshing twist to the classic cocktail.

I’ve been wanting to stop here for a while, and I finally was able to, lucky me, it was happy hour! The Almost Heaven Nachos were fantastic… I had the roasted red bell pepper hummus too, which was also quit good. Especially the fresh pita chips. I did the beer flight (of course) tried all the MSBV beers, minus the IPA, and I enjoyed them all. Will definitely be back here.
