This is a great spot for a relaxed, easygoing meal. Our group tried a couple of the pizzas, a chicken wrap, and the Buffalo chicken salad, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and really hit the spot. The beer selection was solid with plenty of good choices, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable for a resort area. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

Crowded for a Friday with a little wait time for a table but I was solo and easily found a spot at the bar. Pizza was great but not as good as when they Woodford thier ovens. Still the best in 100 miles. Beer selection had a great variety.

If you like beer, alcohol, and amazing pizza like I do….then this is the place for you. Literally walked in here with a party of 9 and was seated immediately. Who does that? Atmosphere was amazing, flatbreads were on point with flavors and varieties for all. We ordered one of each because we were being fat asses and didn’t regret it. Service was great and the view is killer!

Best pizza in the USA!!! The Fire on the Mountain is life changing! Pro tip, try the cauliflower crust. It only comes in smaller size and little pricer but it just takes the Fire on the mountain to another level. The Cheeseburger in Paradise is also mind blowing. All the pizza is great. We have taken large groups to just a date night and always great. It gets really busy on holiday weekends so we we avoid during peak times. You can order on your phone and pick up during those busy times. The bar has a geat vibe with lots of fun drinks. They have great guest taps. Their own beer is not good IMO, but they have only 4 of their own taps and tons of guest taps with great beers. This is a DCL institution!

We had the most amazing experience at Mountain State Pizza. Bradley was our waiter and was the best waiter we have ever had. He was extremely personable, caring, passionate, and efficient. The service he provided alongside the delicious food made our dining experience 10/10. I would highly recommend visiting this spot and would love to go back next time we’re in town!

Mountain State Brewing Company might be in the People’s Republic of Maryland, but the heart and soul of this place is pure West Virginia. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, rustic, and welcoming — just like the Mountain State itself.
Let’s talk food — absolutely phenomenal. I had the grilled chicken flatbread pizza with ranch sauce, and it was spot-on. The crust was perfect, the toppings were fresh, and the ranch gave it just the right kick. And the Caesar salad? One of the best I’ve had in years. Crisp, cold, and loaded with flavor.
My wife went with the Cheeseburger in Paradise flatbread pizza, and she’s still talking about it. She paired it with their Raspberry Mojito, which she described as “dangerously delicious.” As the designated driver, I kept it classic with a Diet Coke — but next time, I’ll be back for one of their signature brews.

This place came recommended my local friends and they didn’t disappoint. Pizza and salads were fresh and delicious with really good Bleu cheese dressing. Will be back this summer for sure!

Awesome place to eat. Took a bit to get service but it was well worth the slight wait. The loaded baked potato flatbread was amazing! The French dip was really really good too. The service was fantastic as well. All around a wonderful experience.
