We come to Hendersonville several times a year and stop in here for a great sandwich every time we’re here. The Reuben , Turkey Bacon Ranch with Sirachi sauce and a Coke will make you want to come back every time. Great food, service, friendly staff. Done in or out. Atmosphere is great. Every sandwich we’ve made here is great. Thank you Mountain Deli staff for a job well done

Really great lunch today. First time in and got the pesto chicken sandwich, potato salad, and chocolate chip cookie to go. The flavors on the sandwich blended very well and were interesting in a good way. The potato salad was average but not bad. And the cookie was on the crunchier side but loaded with soft large chocolate chips, so yummy. Will be back often.

We stop and snag a sandwich here every year on our anniversary trip. The food is always great – fresh ingredients and well crafted sandwiches. The service is generally quick, polite, and attentive – with the exception of one gentleman that can get a little sharp/surly. Seating is a little limited, but the outdoor seating area is really nice. Definitely a good spot to stop in for lunch.

I love Mountain Deli. Every time I go there it’s consistently the same. I love getting the Italian sub. Hot or cold, it’s great. My only complaint is they’re not open more.

Went for the Italian “hot” with all their recommended condiments (mayo, mustard and house sauce) as well as LTO, banana peppers and red pepper relish added.
Bread was fresh, soft and warm.
We split one Sammy there and took one for the road.
Chose the Mac ‘n cheese and potato salad as our sides. Both were fine. personal preference had us adding a little pepper to both.
Several booths and some window seating inside were available. Also had tables outside on the sidewalk. Had fountain drinks, beer and (I think) wine.
Staff were quick and efficient. It was a busy and fast paced environment so not a lot of time for additional pleasantries.
The to go wrapping was pretty leaky by the time we got to sandwich number 2 as they used deli paper and paper bag. But we had put it in a plastic bag ourselves anticipating this.
This is now in our top 3 favorite Italians! Too bad it’s not closer to home

My wife got the chicken soup and I got the Rachel (a Reuben but with Cole slaw instead of sauerkraut) with potato salad. Maybe the best sandwich I’ve ever gotten—both the pastrami and the bread were amazing. Soup was also outstanding.

First Time Visitor..Was looking for a recommended Deli in the area and this was the one all signs pointed to.Very impressed with everything here..Great Staff and they really avoid using all the processed meats most sandwich places are using nowadays.All the meats looked house roasted and all the veggies are from local farms.I will never complain paying a few extra bucks for a higher quality sandwich that is much more healthy.On to the food as between the three of us we had a Pastrami on Marble Rye..Roast Turkey on Sour Dough and a Salmon BLT and we all raved about them and finished every bite.Place has a large menu with so many more things I want to try.We will definitely return here in the future to sample many more of their sandwiches..Very highly recommend

Although I have driven and walked past this place several times. It was my first time eating at Mountain Deli, today. I order the chef special and it was a tasty spin on the Cordon Bleu sandwich! The owner/ manager is super friendly! I will be back.

This place was excellent all around. Great quality ingredients and wonderful customer service. It was quick and delicious – we ordered the roast beef special with horseradish sauce and the classic reuben and they were both excellent. The beef vegetable soup was also noteworthy and the potato salad is some of the best i’ve ever had and i’m picky about good potato salad! The man who took our order was kind and helpful with our questions. 10/10 highly recommend.
