Edit: Much better experience, My wife’s burger was perfect, they forgot her fries and charged us for them but didn’t charge for one of her drinks which was the same price so it was a wash. My pizza was even better than last time.
Service was painfully slow. I think they were just understaffed. I really liked the pizza. Wife’s burger was over cooked and our app came with our meal for some reason. I will absolutely give them another try and hopefully bump up the review.

Ended up here 2X in a week. A nice quiet out of the way place for a meet and catch-up on a Thursday afternoon. Went back early evening Saturday to hear their one-man band. Fun place, excellent friendly staff

Go where the locals go in Mount Vernon! This place was packed on a Tuesday night, Shrimp night! But I ordered the deluxe pizza to go because I heard it was great. $20 total with tax (cash only accepted) but worth every dollar. Pizza was loaded with sausage, pepperoni, cheese, mushrooms, green peppers and onions and just the right amount of black olives. Fabulous pizza tomato sauce. Great tasting sausage, seasoned just right. See attached video.

A+++ for vibe, food and service! We had a BBQ chicken pizza and the Waylon burger with fries; both were awesome!! Our waitress was fun and attentive. Plan on visiting anytime we’re in area.

If you are in the mood for stopping by a classic Wisconsin bar/restaurant, you’ll won’t go wrong by visiting The Mount Vernon Tap. The drive there is picturesque, the food is hot and tasty, the beer cold, and service fast and efficient. No wonder it was crowded on a Wednesday evening.

Coming from Atl, GA-This was the best place we have visited so far.
It’s tucked into Mr Vernon very well. You might miss this little gem if you are out of town and don’t use the gps.
Don’t let the outside fool you. Just walk in.
The pizza is the best I have ever had. (Sorry Chicago and New York)
The price was reasonable and you can play music off the TouchTunes as well.
The staff were wonderful!
