I love this place! This place is a Mount Vernon area staple with it’s quirky decor and talkative servers.

The food was really good and very large, they had Smith Island cake and that’s apparently not very easy to find in restaurants.

Visited here at the night that I really wanted to have sweets and alcohol. Smith Island Cake is fine, really large and rich. However, I’m more impressed by their cocktail. I ordered “Green Tea,” and the price is not expensive compared to other places around! And it is just on the right point for me to be tipsy.

So after attending an event a girlfriend and I wanted dinner. We attempted to find several places but they were closed – like out of business closed.

Food and service was excellent downstairs. Upstairs crew seemed to have attitude, especially the male bartender.

Cozy restaurant with upscale – fun drinks and an eclectic menu. The French Onion soup is rich and the best we have found in Baltimore. The ribs drop off the bone and are worth going for – ask for some extra sauce for dipping! Bar is downstairs and the restaurant is upstairs. Bright and cheery decor, good selection, and our soft-shell crab and steak were excellent. Service was very attentive and pleasant. We very much appreciated the low noise level.

The four of us had a very good meal. Both the food and drinks were reasonably priced. The atmosphere was warm and open. The wait staff was attentive and pleasant. We will be returning in the future. I highly recommend.

Food was fantastic, and *cheap*, like on Tuesday nights you can get a 12 oz steak and 2 sides for 16 bucks. That’s *ridiculous*. Service was a little slow, but it’s a bar, he was dealing with the bar customers and we were at a table, so I get it. All in all, I would 100% recommend this place. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Baltimore

Food is good. The weekday evening service is better than the service on the weekend at brunch time. If you are wanting a quiet dinner i recommend to go up stairs. If you want more a bar feeling go down stairs to the Saloon. However down stairs do offer three booths in the back that sits alone and is a good place for a intimate date.
