Excellent BBQ restaurant. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm and welcoming. The meat was perfectly smoked—tender, juicy, and full of rich flavor with that classic sweet and smoky barbecue taste. Portions are generous, and the side dishes pair very well with the main plates. The service was friendly and quick, always attentive to details. Definitely a great place to enjoy with friends or family if you love good grilled food. I would happily come back again.

Spent $36, got 3 large sides and a half a pound of turkey. The service was really great, she was very nice and it was accommodating. In regard to the food quality, the smoked turkey is definitely a 5 star, highly recommend. It was tender, juicy and smoked well. The sides were not the best but some doctoring at home they were a lot better. Would say one of the biggest turn offs was hearing the microwave go off while waiting for my food. Overall would probably try again but mainly for the meats .

Been Wanting To Stop Here For Years
I travel up and down Hwy 380 many times during the year going to Mckinney or Denton. I haven’t stopped here because I have already ate or eating later with family in McKinney and Denton. The time was never right. Well one day it was right. Was traveling with 3 family members so we stop to try their $5 pulled pork sandwich. We got 3. Fresh hot and delicious and sauce good too. They also have brisket, ribs, side and desserts. I will stop again, it that good. To help people find it. About 3 miles west on Hwy 380 of the Princeton Walmart next door to a pawn shop on the left side. If you get to the QT gas station you went to far. Turn around and go back about a half a mile. Look for a small maroon shed that sits off the road. Small parking lot a a couple of picnic tables.

True, hole in the wall Texas BBQ! Been meaning to stop by here for awhile and was finally able to stop by!
This place truly blew me away! I had brisket turkey and sausage. And potato salad.
Starting with the brisket. This was cooked perfectly. Held together but melts in your mouth. Salty peppery perfection.
Turkey was moist, perfect amount of smoke.
Was surprised I liked the turkey as much as I did as I love peppery turkey!
Sausage is also juicy and flavorful with a snap!
Potato salad is great! Soft big chunks of potatoes. Great flavor.
If you get a chance you gotta stop by!

Fresh and delicious! Brisket was very good. One of the best. Also, smoked turkey was good, too. Baked beans were ok. Coleslaw is very good! Overall, it was a great place with fresh and delicious food! Outdoor seating is available only.

Barbque was very good, I wasn’t a fan of the sauce but found out after we left they had sweet sauce. Little place with picnic tables out front, great for the weather we are having.. Potato with meat was worth the price. Mac and cheese was not. (Dry and small) over all I will go back for the potato and to try the sweet sauce. Ribs fell off the bone. Definitely recommend.

I came here two years ago to rate this place and gave it four stars. I think since then the food has gotten a little disappointing. It was over $25 for two sandwiches and a small container of macaroni and cheese with brisket. The brisket is quite dry and the burnt ends on it are too chewy to eat. The mac and cheese tastes similar to the one from Dickey’s barbecue. It’s a little sticky instead of creamy. What isn’t dry about the sandwich is the fat that is accumulated throughout. The original sauce is alright, it’s a little too vinegary though. I wouldn’t consider this sandwich to be worth $10 maybe $8. It is probably cheaper than Hutchins though so I guess they have that for them. Overall I’m not really that impressed. They were nice and friendly though so there’s that.

Of course all the meat is good. It’s a shack on the side of 380 (endearingly), you won’t go wrong. But the BEANS! The BEANS, bro are so good.
I do wish the Mac n cheese had a little more going on; pepper, bread crumbs, or an option to add brisket would be nice to see.
Quick food, nice people (if you catch the eye of the man in the back, he’ll give you a nice warm thank you) and a $5 good pulled pork sandwich in today’s market is great to see!
