We’re from Florida and have a hard time ordering seafood when traveling but we were NOT disappointed! Maybe some of the freshest and most delicious shrimp we’ve had. The crab dip was delicious and the steamed oysters were cooked perfectly. The service was attentive and speedy. The cocktails were tasty and prices were all extremely reasonable. Super great spot for dinner.

By a wide margin this is the best dining experience in ages. Split 6 crabs between my wife and I and they were to die for!

The atmosphere is absolutely awesome as well.

After driving an hour and waiting 2 hours to get a table for our party of 6 we were seated at a table that would barely hold a party of 4 comfortably by the bathroom. Anytime someone had to use the bathroom my daughter who was holding her baby had to get up so they could go in and get back up so they could get out. After a party of 6 was seated then decided not to stay and eat, left, I asked if we could be moved to the bigger table, we were told no that they were busy and had a 2 hour wait time for people. They then seated a party of 4 at the table I asked if our party of 6 could move to. The ladies purse had a chair and a complete table, but we were not able to move to that table. I will not go back again. We have been loyal customers there for years. We know the place is small and usually busy but this was uncalled for. The fact that my daughter had to get up every time someone went to the bathroom was ridiculous.

We are from Maryland and were in the area researching family history. Restaurant suggested by sister in law who was aware owners have ties to Maryland. Food was excellent! Definitely home made. There is a variety of seafood and Maryland style steamed crabs are available. I am sure they have a line out the door in the summer months. We visited in the middle of winter and they were fairly busy and doing a good take out business the day we were there. Will be back the next time we are in the area.

My family and I love coming here, the food is always top notch. *bruh those tuna poppers* Service is great. We always leave full and fulfilled. This place is truly a gem with some vintage charm. Reminds me of when everywhere you went wasn’t so commercialized. I’m happy to support local business that has such a great product.

One of the servers sat down at our table and literally showed me how to crack and eat the crab, which btw was excellent! They were out of jalapeño poppers and calamari but hopefully i can get some next time.

I’m new to the area, so all restaurants are new to me. Being spitting distance to the Chesapeake, I expected to find some nice, fresh seafood places in the area – and thankfully this is one of them. I’ve never had oysters this fresh…..it’s like they pulled in the trap just for my meal. Just gotta have a care for shell pieces and sand (but that’s certainly not gonna stop me, it’s just more proof how fresh they are).

I also got a crab dish, which was also delicious, but my eyes are bigger than my belly and had to take some home. Score! Next day I smoked the oysters on grill and I had a nice crab cake with them.

The atmosphere/decor is church type “banquet & chairs” type tables and chairs – but kept extremely clean. And there’s a LOT LOT LOT of Trump tchotchke, which would be fine if one of them wasn’t staring at me like it was watching me/ judging me as I ate.

The crab cake was absolutely delicious. I originally gave them a three star only because we came there entirely for the crab legs and they had just ran out by the time we got there. On a positive note, definitely going back to try the crab legs.

We by happenstance passed this wonderful seafood dive for lunch and decided to stop. The ambiance was perfect! It’s one of the coolest places we’ve ever ran across. I had the soft shell crab sandwich and my wife had the crab cake sandwich, both were the best we ever had! If you’re driving in the area it’s a much stop place to eat!!
