FINALLY FOUND MARYLAND BLUE CRABS STEAMED LIKE MARYLANDERS DO! Almost heaven WV indeed! As a transplant to VA I’ve spent several summers frustrated trying to find MD blue crabs steamed the way I grew up & spent most of my adult life eating them in MD. No other place comes close to Mother Shuckers. Seriously.

JUST WOWW! Came to Mother Shuckers after recommendation from fellow Chesapeake Marylanders relocated to WV. Started with crab cake egg roll (amazing!), loaded crab fries, and crab dip. All delicious. Ordered the big fish tacos, by far the best I’ve had in the area. Pulled pork was delicious, as well as the crab cake and shrimp macaroni salad. Even got free birthday cheesecake! INCREDIBLE AND KIND STAFF. Good food, good people, good vibe. Can’t recommend enough, will definitely return. Thank you Skylar!

Excellent Fresh Seafood and our server Wayne was phenomenal! We ordered 3 appetizers for our table (party of 6). All were fabulous! The Lobster Roll special was incredible & Shrimp Po Boy also amazing. Everyone working was pleasant, smiling and did their jobs fantastically! We will definitely be back

We went here to eat tonight. We had a party of 5, myself, my husband, and our 3 kids. I got the crab legs platter. My husband got the Chesapeake Sampler. My youngest daughter got chicken strips and frys. She is a picky eater, so when she ate all the strips I was surprised. She kept telling me how good all the food was and how hard everyone must have worked. My oldest daughter walked in with a bad mood and refused to order. By the end of the meal she took half of my food because it looked so good. Also the corn nuggets were so good. They were definitely a great side.
