A small restaurant. When we arrived at 12:30pm, there were 3 pairs of customers in front of us. The wait was about 20 minutes. The food was excellent, love the fish taco and expecially the octopus tostada. The service was less warm than we expected. Not rude, but without a smile. Perhaps they were too busy. Don’t mind coming back for the excellent food again!

Mother Flower was one of the places on my must visit list. It did not disappoint. The location is just so cute inside and out. The mojito was refreshing with just enough of the mint flavor coming through. The seafood pasta was a little spicy, but I just couldn’t stop eating it because it was well put together. The flavors did all the right things. The service was great as well.

We had two memorable meals at Mother Flower- once for dinner and then brunch a couple of days later. The service both times was excellent, and the food was some of the best Mexican cuisine we’ve experienced anywhere. I wish they would bottle and sell the sauces they put on their Shrimp Diabla and BBQ Oysters (I’m obsessed with both those dishes). Other standouts included – Chile Verde (very different from and better than any other I’ve had), tortilla soup (topped with huge chunks of fresh avocado) and the fish tacos. The only negative really is that we don’t have a branch near where we live!

This place is amazing! If you cannot get in, try next door at Peter’s Fish House. Same owners and you can order off both menus. We had the lamb chops and shrimp and grits. The quality, texture, and flavors were some of the best I have had in Cabo!

Oysters were good. Soup was basic.
The place is good, because it’s clean, cozy and has safe to eat food. It feels to be good for tourists and families with children. Also to have breakfast or to come for a drink.
The service is good, staff was nice
But I wouldn’t recommend to come here if you are looking for some interesting dishes, taste experiences. Also not a lot of healthy options and simple seafood
Personally I won’t come back just because I would prefer to spend time and money for something more special

We did not have a reservation but were seated immediately on a Tuesday night. I had the Quesabirria and my husband had 3 tacos, different meats. It was all delicious! I can’t wait to go back to try something else!

Do yourself a favor and reserve a table at this hidden gem!! We went for dinner and odered everything on the menu and all of it was out of this world. The oysters, tacos, everything is incredibly tasty and sophisticated. My kids keep asking for the tacos and the octopus and I am telling them that it’s basically beyond my powers to be able to make any dish close to what we had

Mother Flowers were so welcoming from the moment we walked in, and the service was incredible. Everything we tried was delicious, but their handmade tacos were easily the highlight. The shells are soft, warm, and slightly chewy, almost like a mix between a tortilla and naan. You can taste that they’re freshly made, and they hold the fillings perfectly. I normally don’t even like soft tacos, but these were exceptional.
We tried almost every taco except the pollo asado. The pork carnitas were tender and juicy with a slow cooked flavor that melts in your mouth. The shrimp taco was light and refreshing with plump, perfectly cooked shrimp. The baja fish taco was another standout — crisp on the outside, flaky on the inside, and paired with a white sauce with cabbage that ties everything together. Every taco comes with its own sauce, and they all match the fillings so well. Their spicy sauce is also a must add. It has heat, but the flavor comes through beautifully.
Their freshly squeezed orange juice was another surprise. It tastes naturally sweet, and really refreshing. We also tried the diabla prawns, and the sauce alone is unforgettable. It’s rich, bold, and layered with spice and a little tang from the lime. Last but not least, their clam chowder was unexpectedly amazing too. It’s packed with lots of real clams and has a lighter broth, so it still feels comforting without being overly thick or heavy.
I highly recommend this place. We’ve already been twice, and we might visit again before our trip ends. Everything here feels made with care, and it really shows in every bite.

OMG! This place was recommended to us by a new friend we met on the plane. It’s so good. We had the Baja Fish Taco, Quesabirrias, and Texas Flautas. They were all amazing! When we come back I will order 2-3 Baja Fish Tacos. They might be the best tacos I’ve ever had. Freshly battered and fried. If you get a chance, sit at the bar and watch them make your food and drinks. Everything is made fresh and you can taste the difference. Thomas (spelling?) was our bartender and server and he was spot on with his service and recommendations. Mother Flower is a must eat place when you’re in Cabo.
