I’ve been to Motek several times, and there hasn’t been a single visit where I’ve left disappointed.

The food is consistently amazing—flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented every time. The drinks are just as impressive, perfectly crafted and always on point. You can really tell they care about quality and consistency.

The environment is one of my favorite things about this place: it feels classical yet vibrant at the same time. It’s elegant without being pretentious, and lively without feeling overwhelming.
Service has always been attentive and fast, which makes the whole experience even better. It’s one of those restaurants you can confidently return to again and again, knowing it will deliver every single time.

Our team from UltraTechX in Boca Raton recently visited Motek Aventura, and the experience was outstanding. The food quality, presentation, and service were all top tier. Everything we ordered tasted incredibly fresh and authentic, especially the Mediterranean dishes and house specialties.
The staff was welcoming, attentive, and made sure our entire group had a great dining experience. It’s easy to see why Motek has become such a popular restaurant in Aventura for Mediterranean and Israeli cuisine.
If you’re in the Aventura or Miami area and looking for amazing Mediterranean food, great atmosphere, and excellent service, Motek Aventura is definitely worth visiting. Highly recommended from the UltraTechX team!

A pleasant surprise today the least!
My family and I came here for a late lunch and was blown away! We indulged in some of the most flavorful Mediterranean food I’ve ever had. We did tapas style ordering. We started with pastrami pita. I thought it was gonna be your typical pastrami flatbread situation. I was so wrong! The pastrami was very tender and flavorful. We followed up with mortician cigar and Turkish pita that gave an ever bigger explosion of flavors. Both were delicious and just kept the good times rolling. Who would have thought pomegranate would pair well with slow cooked lamb? Not me! And my word, it was amazing! Then we had lemon potatoes, tuna ceviche that was just ! Broccolini wrapped up the dishes beautifully. Oh and let’s not forget the different drinks we tried. My favorite was the Basiltini. It was delicious and refreshing. On top of all that, our server was very helpful in guiding us through the menu like a pro. Anything he suggested was on point! Andre later told us it was his first day working. He could have fooled us! We thought he has been there a while, with how well he served us. Attentive, anticipated our needs, and was just awesome. Thank you for giving us such a wonderful experience. We can’t wait to bring more friends and family here.

This was my first time at Motek. Definitely not the last. Our server Hugo was EXCEPTIONAL!!! He knows the menu. Explained everything. He was very personable and attentive. I wish all servers gave that level of service. Everything we ordered was very good and tasty. The Jaffa Spritz is very light and refreshing.

4 stars for the food ⭐⭐⭐⭐
1 star for the manager interaction and customer service ⭐

We were really excited to try this place. As a family of seven, we came in for lunch and had a wonderful experience with our server — she was friendly, attentive, and the overall dining atmosphere was great. Unfortunately, all of that was overshadowed by our interaction with the manager.

A note for future diners:
Double-check that you’re being charged exactly what’s on the bill. As is common in Miami, a 20% service charge was already included, and our server confirmed this. However, we later noticed an additional $20 added to our total that wasn’t listed anywhere on the receipt. The meal was $451, and the extra charge simply didn’t make sense. The manager insisted it was for an added dish, but no menu item matched that amount — and we were also charged for items like fries that we never ordered.

When we brought this up, the manager’s response was dismissive and unprofessional. Instead of acknowledging the discrepancy or offering a proper explanation, he reacted with irritation and told the server to “get $20 cash and give it back to them,” while still refusing to admit the charge had been added intentionally and insulting us. To make matters worse, he later came running after us outside, asking us not to write about this experience.

As a Yelp Elite member for 14 years, I take honesty and transparency in reviews very seriously, and situations like this cannot be ignored.

Adding to the concern, we also witnessed another older guest disputing her bill, making it clear this is not an isolated issue. For such a fancy and well-known restaurant, practices like this are unacceptable.

Despite the excellent food, the experience left a terrible impression. I will NEVER return to this restaurant or any of its affiliated locations.

At Motek, popularity announces itself loudly. On a packed Friday night, even with a reservation, we waited 10–15 minutes—reasonable enough.

Less forgivable was being shown to a table that wasn’t ready: still damp, unset, and ringed by food and trash from the prior guests. After we waited standing for the floor below the table to be cleaned, our sparkling water arrived with a small spectacle, popping and spilling on impact. Not disastrous, but hardly polished.

We began with mushroom hummus that never quite came together—too loose, slicked with excess oil, and unexpectedly spicy. The crudités were fine, doing their job without fuss. The muhammara, however, was an elixir: deep, nutty, and quietly electric. We canceled the falafel, pressed on, and were glad we did.

The chicken kebab was competent if unremarkable, but the summer salad—watermelon, pistachio, feta—was crisp and joyful. A whole branzino arrived impeccably cooked, but not fully cleaned (we were assured it wouldn’t have bones). Still, it was the clear high point of the meal. Ice cream for dessert—mango, vanilla, Nutella—was pleasant, fleeting.

Motek stumbles at the margins, but when the kitchen locks in, the appeal is undeniable.

Being new to Aventura, we asked a local for recommendations for healthier dining options and were pointed toward Motek Mediterranean. It turned out to be a great suggestion.

Despite not having a reservation, we were seated right away, though only indoor seating was available since the patio was full on a beautiful afternoon. As it was our first visit, we asked our server for guidance on the menu, though unfortunately the labneh with za’atar we hoped to try was already sold out.

We started with the fennel and pomegranate salad with orange, sumac candied pecans, and feta, which was outstanding , fresh, vibrant, and easily a 5/5 dish.

Next, we tried the chicken shawarma with pickled onion and amba aioli. The presentation was appealing, and the small squeeze bottle of extra sauce was a nice touch. Flavor-wise, it leaned more Indian-inspired than traditional Middle Eastern in our opinion. While the mustard-forward sauce was well prepared, it wasn’t quite to our personal taste, so we’d rate this dish a 3/5.

We also ordered the crispy artichokes, which were excellent, especially paired with the garlic cilantro aioli. Another strong dish and a solid 5/5.

One interesting aspect of the service is that dishes arrive as they’re ready, so appetizers may come after mains. It felt unusual at first but somehow worked and kept the table lively.

We finished with the knafeh, made with kataifi, cheese, pistachio, and vanilla rose. It was light, well balanced, and not overly sweet, with just the right touch of rose water. Personally, I prefer slightly more cheese so you get that nice cheese pull, but it was still an excellent dessert and a lovely way to end the meal and an easy 5/5.

Service overall was friendly, though our server hadn’t tried many menu items and couldn’t offer the detailed recommendations we heard at nearby tables. Still, it didn’t detract from the experience.

Between the food and the atmosphere, Motek is definitely a place we’ll return to. Overall, a strong 4.5/5 experience.

I ordered the Feta Greek salad and hummus… simple and amazing. Honesty, it was the best hummus I’ve ever had, so fresh and flavorful. Finished off with lavender ice cream.

My waiter was amazing — super friendly, helpful with my order, and very accommodating to my dietary needs. It made the whole meal even better. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!

Amazing food! Such great people. They were out of all lamb dishes and my waiter was too new and too busy. But a great person. I asked for medium rare on the salmon and it came out a heavy medium. But still, it was crazy delicious! The Knafe was perfect. Heck, the spinach and lentil side dish was incredible. They are a bit pricy. Everything wasn’t perfect but I came away thinking that usually it is. So I’ll definitely go back.

We came here for breakfast/brunch and absolutely loved it! The cheese omelette was incredible — so fluffy, airy, and literally melting in the mouth. The portion was generous and full of flavor, just perfect.

Everything was served beautifully: fresh salad, delicious dips, pickled veggies, and warm bread with sesame — such a great combo of textures and tastes. The fried eggs were also cooked perfectly.

Overall, it was a wonderful brunch experience — tasty, colorful, and satisfying. Can’t wait to come back again!
