I doordashed but still this was easily the best food experience of my life. Real authentic Japanese food here. Miso ramen was perfect, broth and noodles and toppings packaged separately. The takoyaki is delicious. Bubble tea is great too. First time having any of those and i will be returning.

Went to visit the new location yesterday to check it out with my younger cousin. The atmosphere and displays were very cute. This seems like a nice place for teenagers to hang out with friends and get a bite to eat.
When walking in, we weren’t greeted and cashier (Green hair and facial piercings) looked a bit annoyed that we walked in. This was our first time coming to this location and we had questions about the menu. The cashier seemed annoyed that we were asking questions. The restaurants wasn’t busy besides two girls that were sitting in the dining area. The cashier seemed nicer to them as they were leaving but still seemed reluctant to speak to me while I was ordering and asking questions. I had ordered the Crispy potato corn dog and a Brown sugar Bubble milk tea. And my cousin had the Oreo rolled ice cream. Despite the slight attitude from the cashier, I still gave the them a tip and was very polite but the manners were not returned. Not sure what the problem was but the way we were treated as customers was very unprofessional.
Overall, the atmosphere, music and food were really nice but the customer service dampened the experience.

Stopped by for a quick dinner on a Thursday evening. I decided to order the beef bowl, and some pork dumplings. The food was absolutely delicious! Motea has great value, quality service, and good food! I’m very happy that I stumbled upon this spot which serves approachable and casual Japanese cuisine. I will definitely be back here!

Wife and I came here wanted to check it out, the price is reasonable for the amount of food you get. I ordered luxury beef bowl and wife ordered shoyu ramen and side order of takoyaki, we will definitely be coming back

Absolutely wonderful! The food was delicious and the customer service was superb! The young man who waited on us (I believe his name was Aiden) was kind, gracious and thought. One of the most engaging people I have ever met. (Truth be told: everyone there was very welcoming.) What a fun date night!

I love the new location! There are so many options to choose from. I got two Butterfly Pea Flowers (Strawberry and Ice Blue Mango). I also bought some mochi donuts. Delicious!

Tips: *The bubble tea menu is more expansive inside than online. *They are taking Covid precautions seriously. *When you walk in the first thing you will see is an assortment of over 20 macaroons that aren’t on the online menu- buy some!

Wow, this place blew my expectations out of the water! Our family was desperate for some ramen after having an unsuccessful beach trip (I really wish Google could stay up on Covid closings) and I found this place on our way home. Bonus that it had bubble tea too! We ordered online and our food was ready in 15 minutes. We had a ramen/bubble tea tailgate party in the parking lot.

The tonkatsu broth was perfect (we got spicy and reg – spicy was a nice heat but not too much). I especially loved how they packaged the noodles and toppings separately (maybe that’s standard? I don’t usually get ramen take out). We could have traveled quite a while before eating if we hadn’t wanted to eat in the parking lot. And I could add half the noodles at a time. The crunchy chicken was also a big hit! I loved my strawberry taro milk tea; my daughter said her matcha milk foam was “weird” but drank it. I wish we lived closer so we could try everything!

Really good ramen and boba! The original Shozu ramen was amazing and my kiddo thought the chicken ramen was great.
The young men who worked there were very friendly, fast, and attentive. Great service!

So far we’ve had ramen and rolled ice cream. Both delicious! Wasn’t the best ramen I’ve ever had but not bad for “fast food” quality. Lots of menu choices for food and super fun (non alcoholic!) beverages like coffees, bubble teas, etc. Definitely a great hang out spot and was packed even late into a Sunday evening. (Lots of teenagers. If that’s not your thing, grab your food to go!) We’ll be back for treats here and there for sure. Excited to try more.

Bit of a rainy day today, and felt the need to get myself something warm and comforting to offset that. I ended up at Motea, a lovely bubble tea and ramen shop in Schererville.

I ordered myself the Creamy Vegan Ramen, which had a delicious vegetable broth with broccoli, sesame menma, sweet corn, scallion, nori, kikurage mushroom, and snow peas. It was a delicious medley of flavors and nutrients that I felt good about! Even though I came in for the warmth, I still felt like I needed to try a tea. After all, it’s in the name. I landed on the Tropical Special, which was a passion fruit green tea with tapioca AND rainbow jelly. The rainbow jelly was good, but those tapioca balls stole the show with that perfect texture and soft, sweet flavor to accent the potent fruit flavor of the tea.

The last important thing to note is, in all honesty, the “vibe.” With warm lighting to bathe the room in a comfortable glow and lo-fi beats gently playing in the background, it really was a refreshing place to spend my lunch. I look forward to coming in again and enjoying a filling meal with that relaxed atmosphere.
