I made a reservation during happy hour and there wasn’t any signage or memos on the website or while making the reservation saying that you could only enjoy happy hour at the bar out on the upstairs deck when weather permits.
Thankfully the boat was fairly empty when we arrived and due to it being our anniversary, they made an exception and let us enjoy happy hour at a regular table inside since it was too cold to sit outside and there was an event going outside.
The event was also not disclosed to us until we arrived but after we ate we were able to go outside and explore the boat and take photos.
Our food was absolutely delicious, for the happy hour we had 2 burger sliders, 2 orders of the small crab cakes I think they were and there was something else I didn’t eat but it was sushi related. Then we got greedy and ordered salmon and Mac and cheese which I would 100% go back for. Afterward our waitress gave us some sorbet on the house for our celebration.

If I have 1 negative, it would be that we were disappointed in the cocktails and liquor selection. Thought it would have more high-end cocktails and choices.
The food was “good”, that’s the only reason it’s getting 3 stars.
1. The meal was 300+$ and all they gave us was a cup of soup, 3 shrimp, and 2 small entrees with no choice of dessert! The food was a solid 7/10, it tasted good, but definitely not worth the pric you’re paying. Easily a 60$ meal. They didn’t even give us a steak knife for our *very* tough meat!
2. We got there at 8:15 pm and didn’t get sat until 9:00 pm (our reservation was for 8:30pm) there was a crowd of people waiting at the door for their reservations for at least half an hour.
3. They sent us upstairs to a bar outside (in the winter) with no heaters! The poor bartender was freezing her hands off running back and forth to the heater. It was $40 (!) for two well drinks (not top shelf at all)
4. Once we finally got sat, the table wasn’t even set, it was still dirty. On top of that, the wait staff kept rushing us to finish our meal. They kept asking in the middle of our entree and conversation if we were done. We don’t want to rush a Valentine’s Day dinner we spend 300$ for and just waited almost an hour to be sat for.
I’ll be telling everyone in my circle to avoid this spot for Valentine’s Day. Not a great experience for the price. It just seemed like they wanted to get as many people in as possible, ignoring quality of experience.
The salmon was exceptional—flawlessly prepared, rich yet delicate, and unquestionably the finest I have ever had. It demonstrated a level of precision and respect for the ingredient that separates truly great kitchens from merely good ones. The macaroni and cheese was well-executed and comforting, though more understated, serving as a competent accompaniment rather than a centerpiece. The Mousse Truffle concluded the evening beautifully: smooth, balanced, and indulgent without excess.
Moshulu succeeds by understanding elegance is not about excess, but execution. Between the setting, the craftsmanship of the food, and the overall composure of the experience, it is a restaurant that earns its reputation rather than leaning on it.
Ambiance: 10/10 | Food presentation & variety: 10/10 | Drinks: 10/10 | Planning, coordination & service: 100/10
As the bride juggling a million things, I was cared for with such prompt attention by the entire Moshulu team. My mother-in-law worked closely with our event concierge, Rebecca Fonte, and I joined for details like theme, decor, and guest count. Rebecca’s communication was seamless—quick responses, clear info in bite-sized steps, and real-time contract updates for transparency. She was flexible with last-minute changes to our guest count and table layout, and even helped my husband coordinate decor drop-off (flowers, signage, DIY items).
What surprised me most was on the day of the rehearsal—our wedding party rushed over to set up, but the Moshulu team had already done it, and better than we imagined. I’d sent one inspo photo that morning, and they nailed our vision perfectly.
Guests were warmly greeted and attended to all night. We had dancing, delicious food, great drinks, music, and explored the ship. The venue also has good parking (paid lot parking) and a ramp for accessibility.
I would 100% recommend Moshulu to future brides and anyone hosting an event who wants to simply enjoy, sit back, and have a good time.
