Mose Public House has been a dream since their first day behind the bar over 25 years ago. Our aim is to be an upscale dive where everyone can feel comfortable enjoying a drink. A place on Main Street where Cañon City locals can get together, exchange stories, and share a beverage. We want to honor the tradition of the American Classic Cocktail by mixing up the finest drinks in an atmosphere that feels cozy and pleasant. Our goal is to make sure you have a good time. Coolest bar in Canon! They have live music some Saturdays, two pool tables in the back, and a nice atmosphere. Food is great! Friendly place and great staff. There’s an outside area to drink too.

I enjoyed my meal and my cocktail here very much. The dessert I got was absolutely amazing! Caleb, the bartender took good care of me. The only disappointment was that my flatbread pizza came out cold. I was very hungry, so I let them know but didn’t return it, just ate it cold. Portions of everything were generous. I ended up taking home some of the flatbread and part of my dessert. I will return.

Just had my bridal shower at mose and it was amazing! Jen goes above and beyond to make it amazing for the bride and guest! All the work she puts into but also allowed my party to decorate and us provide some food from outside and could not ask for a better bartender drinks and food are amazing! We also ate their food from the kitchen that the amazing cooks cooked up and everything was perfect!

If you are downtown in Canon City and want a good hang and a drink check this place out. Mose has good drinks and some tasty food. We had the grilled chicken tenders and they were a nice surprise. No breading, marinated nicely so they were very good. Drinks were tasty and the service was great. Check this place out if you get a chance

Food was great but the service was awful. We had a server by the name of Jennifer. She didn’t ask us how our meal was at all, no introduction, didn’t come to us for our drinks until we had been there for a while, was short and almost rude and brought our entré AFTER our meal. What rubbed us wrong? She was spending her time entertaining regulars and having conversations instead of checking up on individuals. Will not be going back.

We went to Mose Public House for our birthday dinner and had an amazing time. Everything, from drinks (dirty and dry martini, Manhattan and house red wine) to food, was DELIGHTFUL! Bartender was super friendly and respectful. We can’t wait to come back again when we are visiting Canon City.

Upset that we paid $10 a piece for cocktails that didn’t include all of the ingredients listed on their “cocktail menu.” Couldn’t even be bothered to salt the rims on the glasses where a specialty rim was part of the description. When asked, they provided the pictured glass of salt for our party of 7….all of whom had different drinks. What a ripoff for cocktails. Unless you want a plain bar drink, I’d look elsewhere.

Mose Public House is and “Upscale Dive Bar”. It features many Colorado distillates. The featured mixed drinks are so fun! “Bee’s Knees” is the drink I want to try next visit! This delightful addition is located in the heart of Canon City’s Downtown Historical District. The decor is full of historical photos, the bar itself being a restored relic. The pool tables are clean, balanced & beautifully kept. It is named for a bear that terrorized the area at the turn of the century. Friendly, no-nonsense, skilled bartenders deliver AMAZING drinks! Full pours wine & beer, generous spirits in their mixed drinks, too!
