I tried to talk to the bartender to ask him to be behind the bar to no avail and then asked to speak to the owner who was arrogant and rude and said he would not do anything to correct the situation as he didn’t see there was a problem. People were literally standing in front of the bar for drinks and the bartender was not there and then they would go back and sit down unserved.
They also said that their screw up in our meal selections were our guests fault for taking the wrong meals. Can’t make this up! They literally didn’t make enough of what we ordered and then blamed it on our guests.
I would stay away from this place for banquets or anything else. We were definitely ripped off.
The state came with roasted potatoes enough for three side dishes sautéed mushrooms
I had to pay extra for a tiny salad. I don’t know what I paid for it, but it probably wasn’t worth the money a bunch of mixed greens thrown on the plate, lettuce hanging all over the edge of the plate with some lousy dressing And topped with some lousy, canned olives
When my state came first thing, I noticed it was not a center cut New York strip. It was the end up by the shoulder cut, and there was a lot of grizzle on the steak and I had to leave it because she can’t chew grizzle or fat. The steak tasted like it had a vinegar flavor to it almost resembled the taste of sour vinegar flavor
The steak was well done and tough. I proceeded to eat Because I was hungry and I didn’t have time to send it back
If you’re gonna serve a $40 steak, have somebody in the back that knows how to cut it and somebody that knows how to cook it
I have to say that the service at the bar was very good
And at the end of my meal, I ordered a simple dish of vanilla ice cream. It was the worst ice cream of very poor quality
The total bill came to $51 and change
Happy hour prices for the bar patrons offer generous glasses of wine and 22oz beers for the pint price.
The clams were amazing as was the fresh calamari with a spicy marinara. Also had the peperoni bread with marinara which was 5 stars!
Great staff and service, plenty of parking. They have an extensive variety on the menu which never disappoints. Treat yourself!
Sincerely,

The main Main meals consisted of a “Steak Michael,” which was sautéed in a natural beef sauce with mushrooms, asparagus, tomatoes, artichoke hearts, and yellow peppers. A Lobster Imperial: 2 four-ounce lobster tails and crab meat, sautéed in a white cream sauce, which was delicious with generous proportions.
And finally, a dish of Fried Sausage and Peppers, sautéed in a meat sauce with spaghetti, also in a meat sauce.
That, along with a nice bottle of Montepulciano D’Abruzzo wine, and two bowls of steamed clams, which were only $5.00 a dozen on special, made for a delicious evening, along with a lively conversation peppered throughout.
Despite being extremely busy, even for a 6 o’clock reservation on a Wednesday night, the service, largely performed by a coterie of young women who were very professional and quick, came quite rapidly and efficiently. Everyone was friendly, cordial and professional. I wondered why so many people were there mid week. The reason was that they have a periodic special on Wednesdays with steamed clams, which again were a bargain at only five dollars a dozen. Highly recommended. Buon appetito!
