The chef and team turned out delicious fare! The hostess wasn’t completely in tune with the room, and missed an opportunity to excel. The wait staff couldn’t have done a better job. The dining room looked great, but I thought the table by the door, before the wait stand, wasn’t in keeping with how well the room was put together.

We just moved to Solivita and I wanted to love Mosaics. Sadly I did not. The prime rib had very little flavor but that might be because it was so thin you could literally read through it. The au jus was cold and service was slow, with only 4 tables filled. I should have known it was not going to be a good night when the hostess rolled her eyes at me when I told her we had a reservation. We come from farm country and when you order prime rib you actually get a piece of meat not deli sliced sandwich meat. Overpriced for what you get.

My wife and I try to have dinner here once a week when we are in town. The food has been excellent and we love being able to take our golf cart to a restaurant. Some evenings the wait staff is short and very busy. This is a problem in many local restaurants. I always bring my own wine so that has not been an issue for me. I am happy to say in the last month their wine selections have significantly improved. Overall our experience has always been very positive.

Edit: just went again, and it’s not happening again. The service was incredibly slow. I ordered medium rare steak and it came back medium well, and dried out. Hubby had veal, dried out and tough.
The only good part was the servers – very professional. It’s a pity the rest of the experience was so poor. I think they are taking advantage of their older, captive audience.
The ambience was very nice, and the food quite good. A little slow in service, and a not great selection of wine. Lovely view, I’d go again.

I would have rated the food…. If we had gotten the food. Our reservation was at 6:30 pm at 8:16 pm we had not even received the appetizers.

Although all had been wonderful the first time we went, this time our waitress took our orders and she did not come to our table again until we were done eating, while catering to the next table. The food was ok. The salad was fresh and my takeout dessert was delicious.

Not bad thought the waiter could have been more responsive. My fish was good needed more spices my husband had the rack of lamb which was excellent.

We made reservations. When we got there they said sorry this is a private function. No one bothered to call and let us know our reservations had been canceled to accommodate this function. I have seen posts that this happens often. It appears this is only a restaurant when they don’t have private functions!! Beware… Your reservations mean nothing!

Looks great. Sound system seems much better. Carpet nice,color and design. Lightning clean look with the base of light removed and LED. Bulbs added. Dance floor new stain. Stage refinished. Curtains nicely cleaned. Interior of Ballroom looks clean and refreshing. Thanks for the effort and hard work.
