My husband and I had breakfast here and it was fantastic! The food was super tasty, the portions were huge, and everything came out quickly and hot. You definitely get great value for your money.
The service was also excellent — fast, friendly, and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. It’s the kind of place where you feel comfortable right away and leave completely full and happy.
We’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in Oakville. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great classic breakfast spot!

Mo’s Family Restaurant absolutely nails the classic, generous comfort food experience. We were so impressed by the massive portion sizes and the incredibly friendly, attentive service—a standout combination that makes you feel right at home.
We tried the chicken schnitzel and the seafood pasta, and both were fantastic. The schnitzel is huge and covered in a deeply flavorful gravy. The seafood pasta was just as good, with fresh seafood in a spicy tomato base that was super refreshing. The menu also features daily specials, which make it worth coming back all week.
This place is perfect for celebrations! We saw the staff making a big fuss over a birthday table, singing with the kids and creating a really joyful atmosphere. Just a practical heads-up: if two people are sharing one main dish, there’s a $6 sharing fee, so plan your order accordingly.
Overall, Mo’s Family Restaurant offers fantastic value with its large portions and welcoming service. It’s a spot we’ll definitely return to whenever we’re in the area.

Food here tastes like home cooking, the kind my grandmom used to make. Everything was fresh, full of flavor, and made with care. The portions were generous, the service was friendly, and the place felt warm and welcoming. If you want simple, real, very tasty food, this spot is a must try.

The staff is very friendly, April did a great job taking my order and bringing my food.
I had the Jaeger Schnitzel and it was absolutely delicious, the breading was nice and crispy, the meat was cooked to perfection and the mushroom gravy was perfect. I did not care so much about waiting a bit for my meal to arrive but that was because it was all made from scratch and properly cooked. It was very much worth the wait!
I have saved this restaurant in my Waze App, so I can find it again when I am working in the area again and, I look forward to coming back for some more schnitzel goodness!

Took them a long while to check in on us. We were actually discussing when to walk out and eat at Machu Picchu instead and we settled on 6:30. However the waitress arrived at 6:28.
Once she took our drinks order everything went a lot faster. The banquet burger was super thick with the patty being at least 2cm thick and I had a hard time biting into it. Quesadilla was delicious, and the schnitzel was gigantic. Everything was at least 1.5x bigger than what you would expect.
Taste was pretty good for the price, fries are a bit salty. Typical diner food.
Just be aware the plaza looks a bit sketchy at night.

We were just out for a drive near Wasaga Beach and stumbled on Mo’s via Google – what a find! Our server, Alyssa, was just fantastic. Super friendly, really efficient, and just genuinely nice. She even had a moment dealing with a difficult table but was so sweet and apologetic when she got back to us. You could tell she really cared.
Full disclosure, the prices initially made us pause a bit – we were thinking $15 for lunch, but it was closer to $20. But trust me, once the food arrived, it made total sense. The portions are incredibly generous; you definitely get your money’s worth! Two of us couldn’t finish and had great leftovers.
I was blown away by the Lasagna Special; it felt like something from a top-notch Italian spot. The burger was huge and tasty, complete with perfectly crispy fries and fresh veggies. And the omelet was moist and giant, with those awesome shredded hashbrowns that my guest loved.
We walked out super happy. Definitely planning on a return trip to Mo’s whenever we’re back in the area!
