They are amazing when they hire the applicable people but the last 2 years has been nothing but ups and down more downs though. Every time we try them again after we spend over 50 bucks every time. They always over cook meat or skimp entirely on portions. I paid 70 for an order and the picture was the ribs all meat no bone I let them go bad cus who was eating just bone and bbq sauce this is days later cus when I got home I was so upset I let it stay there didn’t even touch it but the potato salad is always amazing haha sad right

I placed an order to go via phone. I was told my order would be ready in 10 minutes. I arrived 13 minutes later. I walked in and was not surprised by the plexiglass considering the location. The clerk was on her phone and did not look up when I approached the counter. I had to speak to her first to get her attention. She looked at me and said, “Watchu ordering”. I told her I placed a phone order for garlic crabs. I paid and she yelled into the back, “153 here”. I walked over to the section of the counter that said “Pick your food up from here”. I waited an additional ten minutes before the clerk comes out and says, “You still here”. I didn’t respond to her comment. I handed her my receipt when she asked for it. She yells, “Ay! 135 here”, hands me my receipt and leaves the shop. Yup, she mixed up the numbers. I get my order and warmed it up when I got home. The order was for a Dozen garlic crabs. It was absolutely disgusting. It was basically melted butter and a bunch of seasonings especially old bay. No garlic flavor or pieces of garlic at all. The crabs were extremely small and I spent a LOT of time trying to find the meat. Worse $50+ spent. Do better Moruss.

Would be zero stars if I could. This place fell off so bad. Store stinks, food stinks, funny taste I can’t put my finger on. Like they used the same grease from something else to make my crab cake. Bread soggy and stale. Fries old and dry. Only thing good was the ice tea. Cashier outside on phone come in don’t wash hands or nothing just back to touching food. I was a weekly customer then had stopped coming about a year ago because the service went down. Mad I decided to give them another try.

The staff at Moruss Seafood and Crab House was helpful and friendly. The Seafood was a nice size and the taste was okay but, if I knew that fried onions was going to be added to my fish sub, I would’ve never ordered it… I like fried onions on my steak and cheese and not on my fish.

Visiting this place was pure nostalgia it took be back to my childhood, where you pick and pack your own items, everyone was so helpful, I purchased a dozen of titan blue crabs, and each one was steamed and seasoned to perfection, well definitely go everytime I’m in the area

So disappointed. It smelled so good when we walked in, and spent $90 for three meals. There was plenty of food, though. The bang bang shrimp was good, and the funnel cake fries were excellent. We also got the seafood fiesta platter, which was a huge bummer. The shrimp was rubbery, and the fish had no flavor at all. The crab cake tasted nothing like it should. I would go for the funnel cake fries but nothing else.

Where do I begin… if I could have given 0 stars I would have… I am always skeptical of buying from places I don’t know. I ordered $90 worth of food and let’s just say I wish I would have just order McDonald’s and ran to the bathroom afterwards. The fried calamari wasn’t fried hard enough so it was soggy… I order two fried salmon platters and one salmon was a nice size while the other was small (pictured) and both tasted nothing like salmon but yet tastes like chicken. The Mac and cheese was utterly disgusting, no flavor or color whatsoever. Which both platters cost me over $40… oh and my husband two crab cake platter was the worst… the crab cakes were full of parsley and tasted like they were breaded with pilsbury cake mix. This is very concerning to pay so much for something that has to go in the trash

Moruss Seafood got me but it won’t happen again. You get one star for giving me what I ordered and another star for trying. You completely failed but I “think” you tried. The shrimp and crab legs don’t look like the picture at all. If you’re hoping for 3 pieces of catfish (cuz that’s what the menu says), you will not get it. You will; however, get 3 half pieces of fish. The cabbage is decent and the green beans taste like they opened a can and dumped in on the plate. No type of seasoning; not even salt and pepper. The potato salad’s consistency is one step above mashed potatoes; don’t do it. They did not give me napkins and I hate when you pay a lot for your food and the restaurant can’t even give you decent forks. The catfish and the chicken dinners came in that cheap paper container and guess what? If you have any food that has liquid (e.g. cabbage, green beans, collards), it will soak through the container. Bottom line: If you’re thinking about getting food from here…..don’t! Just don’t!! Do NOT!!!

I ordered today 1/2 pound of jumbo steamed shrimp and two ponds of crab legs for $84 bucks and this is what I got just 3 clusters but never again it’s ghetto and the staff is ghetto and I feel I was ripped off. Will be reporting this the shrimp was decent but 60 plus bucks for three clusters is a rip off

I got the fried crabs. Bang bang shrimp and mac-n-cheeze. Everything excellent except the mac-n-cheeze was missing something, maybe salt?. Anyway, I’d definitely go back again!!!
