The food is very good. Our server was very attentive to our needs. Overall it was a great meal. But it was a bit too expensive for a restaurant in Rochester. Two of us spent $130, tips included. If it was in NYC, I would be totally fine with the price.

Great hospitality. The staff understands many of their patrons are there for a special occasion. They presented us with a card and photo of our party as a souvenir which we appreciated. Our menu was also personalized for this October birthday.
A freshly baked onion and garlic topped bread was served before dinner. We chose the traditional creamed spinach as our side; bland with a trace of nutmeg. If we all hadn’t had potato sides for lunch we would have chosen the “twice baked” Au Gratin potatoes.
Two eight ounce filet mignon steaks had mixed results. Mine, ordered rare was too under cooked and I took half home, as a result. The other, ordered medium rare, was satisfactory. Our party member who ordered the prime Manhattan cut, thought it was too charred and crispy on the outside but cooked to order at medium.
Dessert was generously gratis for all three of us since they recognized our birthdays were all in the same week. Two of us shared a crème Brulèe and the actual birthday celebrant enjoyed Morton’s legendary hot chocolate cake, which came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side, and a caramel drizzle.

I loveeeee this place.. The beautiful Decor & the AMBIANCE itself is AMAZING.The staff & their attentiveness is an A+, they make sure to make your dining experience a very pleasant one. The prices are on the higher end but when it comes to dining YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR is what I’ve gathered from my overall dining experiences. The menus both food & wine are very well selected. If a great steak is what you want then a GREAT STEAK IS WHAT YOU’LL GET. The suggested wine pairings are usually right on. If by chance you’re up for a sweet treat to “SEAL THE MEAL” My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE dessert is their Salted Caramel Cheesecake it’s literally a reason all by itself to TREAT YOURSELF to a dinner at MORTON’S!

Bartender was attentive and hilarious. Her name was Nicole and she’s a treasure. Their signature Manhattan included watching her use a crazy chemistry set to infuse the whiskey then garnished it with a piece of steak.

The food was INCREDIBLE. I wish there were separate star ratings for food and service. Everything we had was absolutely delicious. The service-slow. We went on a Wednesday night for an anniversary celebration. It was not busy at all, and many times my husband and I stopped our conversation to say “shouldn’t the next course be here by now”. Nobody stopped by to apologize for the wait. For such an expensive dinner, the service left a little something to be desired. The manager was very kind, but gave us a very scripted response to our concerns over the wait. She did take our drinks off of the bill and they did give us free dessert for our anniversary which was really kind. Overall, we had a nice dinner and it was very good, but probably won’t go back.

Very good steak, good appetizers, excellent cocktails. I recommend the steak Manhattan. The complimentary bread was delicious and locally sourced, and the service was excellent. Although the night I went, the food was a bit slow to come out due to staffing issues. The manager was quick to offer another drink, but our dinner ended up being nearly 3 hours long. That aside, everything was great, and if you have a couple hundred to spend on an overpriced dinner, I can recommend no other places.

Morton’s is definitely high end and would not normally be a go to place for me, but had the opportunity so took it. The service was very attentive. She had an excellent knowledge of the menu.
The kitchen divided a Caesar salad between us. The chilled and baked seafood samplers were worth the trip. I would go back for that! Lobster bisque was good with lots of flavor.

I went to Morton’s with my wife for our anniversary and it really couldn’t have been any better. Every element of the evening was perfect. The service, the food, the atmosphere, everything. The waiter we had was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. My wife described her steak as “the best steak I’ve ever had”.

Excellent food and great staff. The girls at the door are sweet and happy to accommodate you. Our server was also great and accommodated every request. The manager of the restuarant is also excellent as she ensured our evening was spectacular. The drinks are delicious and paired well with my food. Thank you Morton’s for the wonderful evening I had.
