I had my birthday party here last night and me and my guest had a blast! We reserved a large booth and ordered platters of delicious fried fish, chicken, and hot wings and fries. The service was great and they had karaoke which had everyone entertained for hours while also playing music in between so we could dance. There was plenty of street parking. This is a great place to causally turn up.

Birthday party behaviors at time of visit. Good place for a small informal event. No waitress. CashApp for orders???? Had to return to the bar several times asking about food orders. Chicken was fried to perfection but had to wait an ungodly amount of time. Otherwise, good friends… good time!

You know that peaceful feeling that you get right before you go to sleep? Never had that whenever Morris Lounge has a “club” event. You have no choice but to wait until past 2am/3am after the “club” music has ended and drunk customers waddle back to their cars, turn up their car’s bass and music volume or have a loud screaming fight before they finally go home. They are the reason I have had sleeping issues for years. They claim to be neighborly but they have a long history (more than a decade now) of complaints from neighbors including calls to the police due to noise complaints and drunken disorderly patrons. When their “club” finally shuts down, their customers are still in front of our houses, shooting guns, blasting music, screaming and fighting, having car races up and down the roads until early in the morning. The owner’s brother was shot by his own brother in this lounge, one of the owners has also assaulted and pointed a gun to his niece’s head and there have been other instances of fights getting out of hand due to the gun violence. There are years and years of APD reports and 911 call records to corroborate this. We are just trying to sleep after working a long day and our children are just trying to sleep in a safe and quiet home. My child told me on a weekday that he was glad he can sleep in peace without having to count the gunshots from the murder that happened on Morris Lounge’s steps on 9/28/2024. We have lost many great neighbors due to drunken bar patrons who have peed, thrown trash, gotten into fights on neighbors’ yards. We have lost great neighbors who actually care about our neighborhood due to this lounge. I would rather have neighbors that are respectful and welcoming rather than ones that are disrespectful and don’t care that their own customers are screaming until past 3am and disrupting everyone’s sleep.

The atmosphere is very private but inviting. Mature crowd 28+ I would say. Music. No alcohol is served, however, BYOB or cooler. The food is off the chain good. The wings are prepared however you like them. The batter and seasoning is like nothing I have tasted before. You will take home a to go box. Just that good!

No problems and No Trouble very safe place . And the Owners are Super Nice Peoples. Chicken wings the Bomb they been cooking the Chicken Wings the same way 50 years. Im friends with the Owners and We are all TRAVELING TO THE EAST. AND ON THE SQUARE !!!!!!!!!

Great place to go! Been a staple in the community for over 50 years! Unfortunately liquor licenses expired with the matriarch, but still can BYOB. A thriving, safe place for events, parties and game day fun. Wish they were open more because food is fantastic!
