My new favorite coffee shop! Everywhere else in town makes over the top, sickly sweet drinks that have no coffee flavor (even if you tell them half-sweet). My half-sweet coconut iced latte was perfection. So glad I finally stopped in. I see many more visits in my future.

Iced lattes are okay, but don’t order a hot beverage. The last three times I’ve visited I’ve ordered a hot latte and have received scorched milk. The baristas haven’t been trained on how to properly steam milk which is a little disappointing considering this is a cafe style coffee house. I write this review with the best intentions and hope they will take this feedback and learn to steam their milk with love, lol.

Morningside Coffee House is the best coffee place around. My wife and I always stop to get us a Morningside coffee when we are in town. They even have gluten-free items that are very delicious and safe.

Nice atmosphere. I chose to have my coffee and cake on the porch. The coffee was very good. The coffee cake was slightly stale but had an excellent flavor. The service was very good. I particularly liked that there are two separate rooms and a nice porch to choose from for seating, allowing for semiprivate groupings.

Morningside has tasty coffee, tasty sandwiches, and fast staff. It’s your basic coffee shop, a nice, quiet spot to drink coffee. I do wish they would occasionally mix things up and advertise inventive drinks and food. Their claim to fame is their Morningside Mocha, a white chocolate mocha. Tasty, but in no way unique. No complaints though. It’s definitely a safe pick for a good cuppa.
