I was very impressed with the quality of the food! The chicken and waffles were absolutely outstanding, as was the “Morning Sandwich” with scrambled eggs, cheese, bacon, aioli, and avocado, on thick buttery toast, with fresh fried potato slices. This place is super clean and well organized, with a friendly and efficient staff.
The simple decor is tasteful and chic. The coffee was served immediately and the food shortly after – zero wait. A bit pricey but worth it. I keep saying downtown Brownsville is making a comeback and this is another shining example.

It’s a nice fancy restaurant the food was really good. We were a large group they made us wait 30 to 45 minutes to get a table. All comments are kind of the same no body say hi or approach to your table to let you know the process of ordering in front. After that the waiters are really nice and service was fast. We pay close to 200 with tip but i said we were a group of 8. Restaurant its in downtown good luck to find a parking lot close to the restaurant.

Excellent food and service. The atmosphere makes having a meal there so much more pleasant. We went during brunch and it was quite busy. Waited 10-15 to be seated and we were tended to in a timely manner once we were able to get into the restaurant. The food took about ten minutes to arrive at the table. Will be back soon!

Went with my family and the food was excellent! The pancakes I got were very nice and fluffy and the chai tea I got was also very good! The dessert we got was just the perfect amount of sweet to finish off the meal. Overall the presentation and taste of the food here was amazing!

Great breakfast at Morning Glory, we were greeted and promptly seated. Looked over the menu and placed our order at the counter. Our waters and latte were brought to our table in a timely manner. Latte was honestly one of the best I’ve had. I ordered the Lemon ricotta pancakes with a side of eggs and bacon. Pancakes were to die!Eggs seasoned and cooked to perfection, bacon had a nice smoked flavor. I absolutely love that the food was brought out promptly and is actually hot when it gets to the table! My husband opted for the chilquilles with egg, he was so happy with his order, I can say everything had such good flavor.Servers were very attentive which made our experience at Morning Glory a very pleasant one, can’t wait to go back

Cutest place & amazing tasty breakfast. I tried the chilaquiles with half red salsa & the other half green salsa with a side of refried black beans. Ordering was easy. The staff is very welcoming & polite. It is a small place but the wait as it qas quick. Definitely reccomend. Very clean facility.

Update:A year later the food is still great, and I had a delicious Pineapple & Tropical Mimosas, but I am not fond of the change from table service to having to go up and order at the register. When I go to brunch, I like to sit back and be waited on, enjoy myself rather than going back and forth to the register.
Had a great brunch date here! Enjoyed the mimosas, I had a regular one and one with coconut, which I really liked it. There was also a hibiscus mimosa flavor, I didn’t get to try. I had the chilaquiles, it was delicious, exactly the breakfast I was hoping for. I look forward to my next visit. The picture is the avocado toast and omelet.
