This is your diamond in the ruff!! Everyone is so incredibly courteous and kind. From the co-owners/host (Terese & Jimmy), our server (Jen), to the Busser (Samir), and finally, the pièce de résistance, Chef Robert!

My dinner date and I had the following spectacular dishes: Lobster Ravioli with crabmeat, Flounder Francaise, and the Seared Scallop Crostini special appetizer.

Last but not least, Chef Robert (which we found out is a professionally trained pastry chef) served one of the most delicious cheesecakes we ever had: Chocolate Covered Oreo Cheesecake, and the most tasty mini cannolis.

This was boardwalk quality food at much higher prices. My son gets fried shrimp everywhere he goes, but this overcooked order was not “fried to perfection” and it was definitely not worth the $30 price tag even with the side salad and pasta with marinara. The calamari was ok for $15, but all rings and no tentacles. It was very generic. I had the lobster ravioli and it was ok – not great. Sadly, we won’t be back.

I went to Johnnie’s last week as a party of 3 and it was an absolute joy! Not only was the food phenomenal, but the staff were all incredibly warm and welcoming. The owners and head chef even visited our table to introduce themselves, check in on our experience, and thank us for coming. Our server, Eileen, was also kind and helpful.

Though I’m no stranger to a good pasta dish, i can honestly say the Lobster Ravioli was the best I have ever had. Some other highlights included the Flounder Francaise and Peanut Butter Cheesecake.

Don’t miss out on this amazing new Wildwood gem! Run, don’t walk!!!

Was so looking forward to this being a great new BYO, but it failed miserably. The food was horrible. I got the chicken roma and my husband got the blackened chicken. I did ask for my pasta to come with the same sauce as the chicken, but it came with Marinara. Both dishes had uncooked large pieces of tomato on top. My husbands blackened chicken had so much blackened seasoning and was doused with an enormous amount of balsamic vinegar. The vinegar taste was overwhelming. We really can’t figure out how that was allowed out of the kitchen.

The service staff was very good, and they bring out roasted peppers and bread prior to the meal, both of which were tasty. It unfortunately went downhill from there.

This was our first visit and Johnnie’s did not disappoint! First we were greeted by a friendly lady who was all smiles that seated us. Nick our server was awesome! He recommended the seafood pie special and veal madallion special and they were both EXCELLENT! Highly recommended, we will be back!

Large family of 10 enjoyed our dinner at Johnnie’s! Service was outstanding as our waitress served this large table with no problems and so nice and accommodating! Food was delicious and the price was right !
My only negative comment is the amount of pasta given with the dish. I had chicken franchisee and could hardly even see the pasta that came with it. Other wise a very good choice for dinner

We have been here numerous times and always were very happy with the service and the food. Last night they had an yellowfin tuna tartar appetizer. It was probably the best my husband and I ever had we love this place. And our server Jen was very nice one of our favorite places on the island.

My husband and I went last night to celebrate our anniversary. Our waitress Karen was attentive and very personable. The crab balls appetizer was amazing. Our main dish of tortellini Alfredo with blackened chicken and shrimp parmesean was delicious. We will definitely be returning

We looked forward to eating here, man what a disappointment. First they put us in the back room, no problem but there was little to no air. They had fans set up but it didn’t help.

Then my wife ordered the app on the specials menu. They ran out, ok that happens but then she ordered something off the regular menu they ran out of that also. How do you run out of ravioli in an Italian restaurant??!!

The service was awful, waitress stop by our table twice the whole meal. Never got refills on our drinks. And to top it off the food was not good. Stay away from this place. I’ll bet this won’t be open next summer.
