Haven’t been here in years and happy to report the service is as on point as opening day! Attention to detail wasn’t missed starting at the host checkin, to the bar to being seated for dinner.

Went for Lunch at Morimoto in Napa is definitely an experience, especially if you are a fan of the “Iron Chef” legacy. The restaurant itself is stunning, located in a beautiful spot in downtown Napa with a vibrant, upscale energy. The food was good overall, and you can tell that the ingredients are high quality. However, when it comes to the sushi specifically, it was not the best sushi I have encountered. It was well-prepared and fresh, but it lacked that “wow” factor or unique depth of flavor that you might expect from a restaurant with this much prestige and a high price tag.

Coming here for dinner was a great idea. The restaurant itself is quite spacious, clean, and the atmosphere is inviting. Every dish I had here was great, and they kept on getting better as the night went on. The drinks here are good as well, and they don’t skimp on the alcohol. I’d say that the prices do match what you get in quality and taste. Service was great, and they took care of any requests very quickly. This is a great upscale Japanese restaurant by the Napa River that I’d recommend to anyone visiting. Overall, if you’re looking for some Japanese cuisine and are in Napa Valley, Morimoto is the place to go.

The food and the service was stellar last night. The sashimi was so fresh and beautifully presented. It was in a landscaped wooden bowl with the finest crushed ice preserving the delicate flavors. It was displayed as an ocean scene that deserves photos but alas I am not one to take pictures of food.
Our server went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. She noticed where we were in our meal and allowed us to savor it. She recommended a cocktail and noticed that I wasnt drinking it and whisked it away replacing it with a different alternative.
We had no reservations on a Monday night and were welcomed in with only a brief wait. The place is quiet large and yet still had a coziness to it. The only drawback was that it got quite loud and quiet conversation became a challenge.
Overall the meal and service will 100% make this a very memorable evening.
