This place was very friendly. I brought my baby with me and they were very kind and sweet. The food was great! I Got a chicken shrimp pesto pasta the best I have had. Better than most restaurants and a great price. It also had enough to share with my husband . We will definitely be coming here again.

Super delicious and unique cuisine on the Oregon Coast. The choripan sandwich with chimichury sauce is easily one of my favorite sandwiches ever. The sautéed rockfish tacos are a vibrant kiss to one’s taste buds. And the french fries with a garnish of chopped parsley are delectable. If you are in Newport run, don’t walk, to Morels. José and his family are wonderful people to support.

The deep fried rockfish tacos hit the spot. The fixings were all super fresh and exactly what we needed after a few too many heavy meals along the coast. Splitting three tacos between two people was just right for a late lunch.

Found Morels on Google Maps. I had the rockfish tacos and my companion had a sausage type sandwich that neither of us can remember what it’s called. The food was great! My fish was grilled to perfection. It included a lightly spiced marinara sauce that added a high note. The young man who took our order was friendly. Our food arrived in less than 10 minutes. They gave us complimentary wild mushroom soup that was also good. They have a variety of food options from fish and chips to a fusion of South American foods. We will definitely be returning.

Hands down the best food truck in Newport. We love everything we have tried so far. Today we decided to give the burger a try and first off, loved the fries, I can tell he cuts them fresh there, they’re a good size and amount. The burger itself was nice and big and we enjoyed the overall taste. Will be back again later this week. If you see them, check them out and if you love what you eat, spread the word!

We have been visiting the Oregon Coast for the past 4 years now and during that time it’s been a bit difficult to find good food to be honest. As we were driving down the coast I noticed a red food truck named Morels Restaurant. I’m big on yelp or any reviews because it gives me a better idea of whether or not I should stop at a place to eat. I have to admit there wasn’t much except for 5 reviews on google but all of them had give positive reviews so I decided to give it a try. Let me tell you…. This food truck is delicious!!! It reminds me of homemade food my mom would make, it’s so comforting especially when the weather outside is cold. We took everything to go but they do have one table under a tent set up for anyone looking to eat their food there. The service was friendly, fast and super helpful. I don’t think we waited more than 10 minutes which was nice. My favorites are the chicken tamale (it’s incredibly moist and melts in your mouth) and the potato empanadas. The tacos were filling and well made as well! I have visited their food truck twice now and plan on returning before we head back home. The menu also has a few other interesting items like ceviche, soups, fish and chips, and pastas. Go check them out. Guaranteed you’ll love them too!

Wow this was a great surprise. A food truck that serves amazing food with large portions in Newport, Oregon. We love wild mushrooms and their pasta was to die for. We also had some rock fish tacos that were awesome. Great batter on the fish. Nice authentic fish taco. Then I saw the sea food lasagna, we will be back. They also have a great togo menu. What a relief to find a new restaurant in Newport that serves amazing sea food. They even have fish and chips. I hate to say it but there are only a few good restaurants to order sea food in Newport. This is a good one for sure. They are right off highway 101 in Newport.

Awesome food and very good service. While we were waiting for our food we were given free servings of mushroom soup to give feedback on (if we wanted) and wow it was so good! I will dream of that soup. The wild mushroom pasta was excellent as well. I seriously recommend this place while you’re in town.
