Best barbacoa I’ve had anywhere. They make the tortillas in house (for tons of the other restaurants and mercados in town too) and everything I’ve tried there has been outstanding.

I like trying new places but this one was so highly rated I took a friend. Was soo disappointed! Food was dry and over cooked. Burnt on bottom.
My friends food was worse than mine.
Photo looks better than taste!
Waitress was young girl nice and friendly when taking order. Then disappeared.
Would not recommend. Not busy.
Except for making tortillas in other room.
Everything over cooked even freshly fried chips. Could chip a tooth. Thick and hard.

Excellent just as we anticipated it would be. Torta asada was super fresh, steak was tender. Carnitas platter with fresh corn tortillas and their salsa was delicious!

Not once did our server come to ask if we need anything. Chips where good. The meat tasted old and with just the seasoning from the pork it was cook with.

The food was great. Everything they have is amazing. Barbacoa de borrego tacos are legit. I loved their soup

I had a bad experience at this restaurant. The customer service was terrible. When I asked for quesabirias, they never asked me if I wanted some garnish on them. I’m allergic to fresh onions, so I asked if they could remove it for me. They didn’t do anything about it!

Great authentic flavors. Lots of Spanish being spoken by the staff and clientele. They make and sell tortillas. Awesome breakfast burritos!

I was impressed with the quality of the food here. The homemade tortillas are wonderful and the steak they used was delicious. My only complaint was the food was on the dry side, which I’m not used to at a Mexican restaurant (they usually smother everything in some sort of gravy, which was not the case here). Overall I highly recommend for a local and authentic Mexican restaurant.

I mainly come here to buy bags of chips or occasionally tortillas to take home (it’s a tortilleria after all), and the fact that I make special trips just for these items should tell you what quality to expect. But when I have eaten here (for breakfast only so far) the food has been decent, the staff pleasant, and the place adequate. Want a more traditional Tex-Mex restaurant (with margaritas and beers) you probably need to look elsewhere though. Word of warning though: the place is usually pretty packed.
