My wife, son, and I chose to dine at this restaurant for an evening meal, but unfortunately, our experience was far below expectations. Upon arrival, we were not greeted until we initiated contact with the staff. Once seated, the overall atmosphere felt unwelcoming, though we decided to stay since we were already hungry and in the mood for Mexican cuisine.
Our assigned waitress was inattentive, requiring us to call her over several times for basic requests. When our meals arrived, the food was only lukewarm rather than hot, but we decided to proceed with our meal regardless. During dinner, I unexpectedly began to choke and discovered a toothpick inside my food. This was an alarming and dangerous situation.
When we informed our waitress of the incident, her response was limited to a brief apology and an offer to remove only half of my meal from the bill. Considering the seriousness of what occurred, this response was both inadequate and disappointing. We requested to speak with a manager, but were informed that no manager was present at the time.
As we prepared to leave, the waitress approached us to ask, “Wait, there’s no tip?” Given the circumstances, that question felt highly inappropriate.
This experience was unacceptable from both a food safety and customer service standpoint. We left extremely dissatisfied and will not be returning to this establishment. I hope management takes this feedback seriously to ensure no other guest encounters a similar situation.

I had an excellent experience at this restaurant! The flavors were vibrant, the portions generous, and everything tasted fresh. The tacos were perfectly seasoned, and the homemade salsa had just the right kick. The staff was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere felt cozy and welcoming. This place was really good. A good authentic Mexican restaurant. The food was good. The rice and beans could have been alot more hotter but it’s okay. I like my food steaming hot. The staff were amazing and the setup of the restaurant was really nice. I will definitely go back. Oh I forgot to mention I went for taco Tuesday. The taco’s are $2 in which the prices may vary based on the kind you may get.

What a true gem. This restaurant not only has great service but also wonderful, authentic Mexican food… Fast service, fresh — not processed — food made from scratch including the chips and salsa! Great for lunch or dinner, great wait staff and excellent food! Highly recommend it for family night, date night or grabbing lunch.

They were completely understaffed. We got our drinks and chips/salsa and asked for queso. It took a second ti.e stopping someone to get it. We wound up ordering our food at the same time. We weren’t sure if we were going to be able to do so in a reasonable amount of time. I got the steak ranchero. Had to ask for my guacamole salad. One of the ladies apologized but we still had to wait or ask for food.
The food is wonderful! However, the service is awful. It’s a hand toss.

We recently started coming to this restaurant frequently. And we love the food. Great portions. Service is hit or miss on most days. My ick is that they actually put in 20% gratuities as compulsory for a party of two. This has happened a few times.
