Reviews
Food: I ordered a mixed chicken and gyro dish over rice ($14). It came with a basic salad. The chicken was tender and moist, the gyro was flavorful, and the rice had the perfect texture. All were seasoned well and the sauces on top were a good balance of creamy and spicy. The salad was also crispy and cold (though pretty basic and not a lot of it). The portions were generous overall for the price, making this a good value.
Atmosphere: The store was brightly lit and had both booths and tables for eating at, though the store is small overall. They also have outdoor seating. They had salt, black pepper, red pepper, and Parmesan as condiments on the tables, as expected for a (more than) pizza place, but no halal food sauces readily available.
The only thing I could complain about was the flyer they had out that informed customers that they give a 4% discount for paying with cash instead of card (which we comfirmed with the cashier). We paid in cash and they just removed a few cents off our bill to give a round number, much less than 4%. 4% ends up being a small discount, but why even advertise this if you’re not going to abide by it?
Conclusion: If their pizza is as good as their halal dish was, then I would probably come again just to try the pizza (they sell whole pies, but also sell $3-4 per large slice). I highly recommend their halal food!
The owner is welcoming and friendly. Will definitely come again.
The place boasts of halal items which is why we went there.
However it was very disappointing but what can you expect from a place located in such a remote city.
Lots of students and their families around in the downtown. While it’s situated in prime downtown area the place looked abysmal.
They need to change their food and the restaurant overall to attract more customers.
We got a bacon cheeseburger and Chicken over rice, both were fantastic!
Price meets tge value for sure
Great service and nice environment
And love how much options there are for everything food and drinks.
