My pesto pasta was also very good — just a solid, tasty pesto pasta. I saw a lot of reviews complaining that the pasta was undercooked, but that’s just classic al dente. Ours was perfectly cooked. If you’re used to overcooked, mushy pasta, this might not be your spot — but for anyone who appreciates real pasta texture, it’s great.
The vibe inside is cozy and gives off a nice Italian feel. Even the disposable tableware is thoughtfully chosen — beautiful eco-friendly utensils and plates made from recycled materials. It’s clear they care about sustainability.
Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely come back!
This vodka rigatoni is on its own planet. The sauce is silky, rich, bright, and somehow both comforting and elevated. The rigatoni is perfectly al dente, and the consistency is unmatched– it hits every single time. And most importantly, my sensitive-stomached boyfriend has never once complained, which is its own small miracle and the reason we order at least three times a week without hesitation (his favorite is the creamy dry beef).
To the chef and owner, thank you for being absolute geniuses and ending my lifelong search for the best pasta. I’ve found it.
This isn’t just the best vodka pasta I’ve had in America–it’s the gold standard. Trust me when I say, this is the best you’ll ever have.
One thing that first timers should know is that the pasta is a different texture than most are used to since it’s fresh. I think that’s worth knowing ahead of time so it doesn’t come as a surprise!
The food is great here. I’ve only had pasta but the ingredients are fresh, and executed well. In particular, I got a Gorgonzola pasta and the Gorgonzola did not overwhelm any of the other flavors. To me it seems like the people here really take pride in what they do here. Definitely a place I would recommend supporting.
I mean, reading from the reviews, I was excited to try, but the taste and service were very subpar.
First, this is like Chipotle style, where you choose your noodles, sauce, and protein, and they cook it for you.
When I asked what people usually get with risotto, the guy at the front was very reluctant,he is like, “You choose any sauce from basic or house.” Like you couldn’t give a popular combination?
I read reviews about homemade meatball, so I ordered these extra and am very disappointed. Maybe it’s supposed to be different, but Im use to soft and tender meatballs. These were really chewy, a bit hard. Very meatty flavor, nothing else.
Overall, this place has no identity…what I mean is, this build Your own pasta concept doesnt really work for me. There are pasta that just goes well together, as simple as spaghetti with meatball, fettuccine with cream sauce, linguine with clam or rigatoni with vodka sauce etc…
They should just sell what they are good at, with actual dish name.
It’s like paying premium for Chipotle. With this price tag I paid, I could have gotten actual pasta dish from any italian restaurant.
The server explained us the whole menu and even recommended what to pick.
That is the thing i love about suburban restaurants.
We got chicken parm and pesto pasta.
Really good and delicious food.
They make fresh pasta in house and it definitely reflected in their dish.
Def recommend.
Also they have one of a kind interiors.
