Stopped by More Than Java Café and it absolutely lived up to the name. I grabbed the Salmon Egg & Cheese sandwich, which was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly put together—definitely not your average breakfast sandwich. I paired it with the Island Paradise Smoothie, and that was a win all on its own: smooth, refreshing, and packed with tropical flavor.
The staff really made the experience even better. They were welcoming, friendly, and patient, taking the time to make sure everything was right and offering great energy from the moment I walked in. You can tell they genuinely care about both the food and the people they’re serving.
What also stood out is the variety on the menu—plenty of great options, and everything I saw coming out looked just as good as what I ordered. And if you’re planning something special, they also prepare charcuterie boards, which are perfect for events or even to share while you’re visiting the café.
Great food, great staff, and an all-around solid spot. I’ll definitely be back.

I didn’t expect to get proper jerk chicken in a place like this, but I was very pleasantly surprised. Moist, tender and pleasantly spicy, just as good as any Jamaican restaurant. A bit messy, so I may opt for a wrap next time. Friendly service. Would happily come back next time I’m in the area.

I’ve dined here twice and had such a great experience! They have some of the best customer service here I’ve ever experienced! Amazing people for sure. I love the atmosphere as it’s very earthy and calming! Both times I’ve dined here was for brunch. This time, I ordered the Belgian waffle platter with turkey bacon (the good kind!), scrambled eggs, and grits. All of it was sooooo good, especially the waffles! Very soft and fluffy, yet flavorful! You get a good portion size for a reasonable price on all the food. I highly recommend dining here!

Got sandwiches here. They were fantastic. Steak was nicely spiced and the vegetarian has a spicy sauce on it. They’re LARGE sandwiches, too. We ate at the bar area which was nice and airy.

All good vibes at more than Java cafe. I ordered the jerk chicken and egg breakfast sandwich on coco bread and it was so good! It was nicely seasoned, very flavorful and made with love. The customer service here is impeccable. I will definitely be back.

The coffee is hotel coffee, it is just another cup of Java so to say. We got the blend of the day which was supposed to be caramel, hazelnut, etc etc. but was literally a cup of black coffee out of the coffee machine (premade). We also ordered the Merck chicken with French toast, it was not jerk chicken at all. It was some kind of stewed chicken which wasn’t bad but not necessarily good in any sense of the word, it was absolutely not jerk chicken. I think they just allowed us to order it then gave us whatever they were making already. The French toast was mediocre and needed butter and syrup to eat, which was those regular prepackaged table syrup’s instead of real maple syrup. For $15 on a takeout breakfast order, I was hoping for a lot more. I will never eat at this place again.

Ronnie, my cashier, was extremely helpful in guiding me through the menu and made a great recommendation. He was super friendly and served with an epic smile, making my visit even more enjoyable.
I ordered the Jerk Chicken, Egg, and Cheese Breakfast Sandwich with an iced coffee, and both were absolutely delicious! The flavors were rich and well-balanced, and the sandwich had the perfect kick of spice. My coffee was just right—smooth and refreshing.

The breakfast sandwich and breakfast burrito my husband and I got was nothing short of phenomenal! Everything was perfectly seasoned! The salsa on the vegan breakfast burrito was full of flavor! The vegan sausage was so juicy and I am so happy they added spinach and fresh tomatoes to the sandwich it elevated it so much. Often times places fill breakfast burritos with extra cheese which some may like but I don’t prefer it so I really enjoyed the freshness of the veggies. My husband got a bacon egg and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel and he could not stop talking about how good it was. Whoever made the sandwich made it like they were making it for themselves. It was THAT good and they added plenty of delicious bacon to top it off. I also got a mango lemonade which was hands down the best lemonade ever. My husband ordered a green machine and was convinced there had to be added sugar because it was THAT good! My only complaint is that the store isn’t closer to my house. We were immediately greeted each time we walked in and the guy working at the register seemed genuinely appreciative of our visit. I can’t wait to go back!
