Had an excellent experience here! The prices are great for what could be a very expensive pizza. I had the specialty pizza of the day, a white cheese slice with spinach’s and it was surprising very flavorful. The combination of the thin crispy crust and warm cheese hit the spot. Highly recommend checking this place out! Plus the staff is super friendly and attentive.

As out-of-towners, we originally went next door and dined inside Home slice pizza. It was almost empty. The slices they brought to the table were so old and dry. The waitress said because they cook them an hour before. When we stepped outside we saw the “Take-Out” version called More Home Slice Pizza with droves of customers coming and going like crazy and some eating outside at the tables. I walked over and brought a slice from there and it was so FRESH and Delicious! The guy that took my order was super nice! My tip is to go to that “Take-Out” stand outside instead of eating in their restaurant next door. The experience was like night and day. Oh and the Mexican Coke in the bottle was so good I bought it 2x!!

First time trying this place and it was a pretty good experience. The atmosphere was super cool and the service was good. The only issue was that pizza was very salty. Also my drink (the Diet Coke) tasted like Dr. Pepper! Overall, a good experience, especially if y’all are looking for a quick snack in famous #soco Austin TX

Came in late to Austin, was going to see James McMurtry at the Continental and needed something to eat. The pizza was great. Sat at the bar, had two slices and a pint or two. Servers were up for a chat, and they gave me a cookie. Which I left on the bar when I left.

Awesome pizza joint on the main Street. A block away from the famous Continental Club for live music. Highly recommend – great experience all around. Pizza was simple but top notch. Loved the sausage and garlic slice of the day. Staff super was friendly. Great outdoor seating on picnic tables sharing with other people. Very nice vibe on a warm evening for dinner. Got lucky with some live music at the street corner. Great food, people and atmosphere. Highly recommend!

More Home Slice Pizza is probably the most accurately named pizza joint of all time. As the casual and to go wing of Home Slice, MHSP (nice acronym, huh?) is serving up what amounts to as the best pizza we’ve had in Austin so far. Ordering at the window was quick but the price of $4ish for a slice is quite high. As for the pizza, it was thin and floppy with a well cooked bottom and the pizza pops with flavor. The sauce and crust feel pretty close to what you’d get in a New York pizza and as people who have spent years of ours lives in The Big Apple, it was nice to taste home for a little bit. The only thing that feels a bit off is the cheese, maybe we’re crazy or needed a few more slices to average it out. Either way, the pizza is delicious and we can’t wait to stop by and get another slice.

This location is wayyy better than the original. I’d suggest coming here instead of Home Slice. The staff was very helpful and had a cool vibe. I felt at home and even wanted to move in permanently. My taste buds were in nirvana. Blissfully greasy exactly what you want in a slice of za. Honestly great slices. 10/10

I heard this place was an institution so we had to try it. It was good, cheap and cheerful. The pizza was great, perfect for anytime, drunk or sober. We had the pepperoni and cheese and the pizza of the day which was a white sauce with spinach. We also got the Italian sub and that was truly the hidden gem. It was so big and so delicious. I would highly recommend it

No slices from 6:30-9:30. We opted for the Italian and the meatball subs. The Italian was the real winner. It was so good and fresh with tons of meat while the meatball was sort of bland and didn’t have enough sauce. I felt as though our waitress was rushing us out. It smells so good in here.
