One of the best places in Ireland for seafood and fish, and of course best and most fresh oysters in all Ireland!
Coming here fee years already and quality of food is always the best, also they have most tasty in the world baked oysters (highly recommend to try even if you don’t like raw oysters). Everything we’ve tried here was excellent.
This place is very famous and popular (here was even Pierce Brosnan), so recommend you to book table in advance.

Off the beaten path a bit, but an absolute smash of a restaurant. From their perfect brown bread to fish-filled chowder to the oysters to the best Irish coffee I’ve ever had, this meal was an experience I’ll never forget.

This is worth the trip from Galway or anywhere else, for that matter. I’ll be thinking about Moran’s for a long time!

Parking is a bit informal but you can figure it out. Seating is ample inside, plus they have a large outdoor seating area that overlooks the water (not suitable for December, sadly).

I couldn’t be happier to have made our way to Morans. This was one of our favorite dining experiences while on Ireland. The seafood was so so unbelievably fresh and delicious. We ordered everything from the oysters, fish and chips, and the lobster! Each just as tasty as the next!

The bread crumb cooked oysters as well as the seafood chowder are a must!

This was probably our favorite place to eat at on our entire trip. It’s a small business. the menus are beautiful and simple. It was incredibly clean. Very well organized. The staff were all beautiful. The oysters were amazing. We didn’t love the potato cakes so I wouldn’t get that again. The sweetest relaxed little place. Loved it! Highly recommend.

This was the best service we’ve received in Ireland so far!! The young people waiting were so attentive and really wanted ypu to enjoy the experience. The food is fantastic, but I would be happy to come back just for the service!

What a fantastic meal. We called to book a table for 12.30 but were told there wasn’t any availability u til 3 pm however they did say that we could sit outside weather permitting which is what we did do and it was fab. We met the owner who gave us a bit of history around the place. The food was fab. Oysters, prawns, salmon…. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful scenery. Good oysters, fish and chips, and bread and butter pudding for dessert. Service was OK – difficult to get water and took about an hour to get our entrees. It’s a bit of a hassle to get here if you are staying in Galway and don’t have a car.

Recently had Dinner here and it was fabulous. I had Oysters and Lobster, this was some of the best seafood I have ever eaten, would gladly eat this again. Whatever you do, don’t pass anywhere near Moran’s without making the trip to eat here, you won’t be disappointed.
