The food is tasty, but holy crow the service is slow. I waited 25 minutes for 2 burgers and one order of fries – and the place wasn’t busy. The man who ordered after me with a larger order got his food before I did. The line is staffed by teenagers, and they move at the speed of confused sloth. (Well, maybe it’s not THAT bad, but they aren’t motivated to move quickly.) I watched the line and there was no rhyme or reason to who was doing what. Shakes came out well after people ordered their food and started eating. I feel like the place could use some adult supervision and better organization. I hope they improve because the burgers really are tasty.

Average burger place. Fries were salted with a great flavor and we’re addictive. I had the veggie burger, which was fine. I would have loved the option of spinach instead of lettuce. We ordered a hot dog to go at the end of our visit and it took 10-15 minutes to have ready.

Really enjoyed my eating experience the first visit and then it all went downhill. Ambivalent employees who seem tired, indifferent, or checked out. Long (and I’m a patient person) wait times for food with more employees in building than patrons. I returned today to give benefit of the doubt, but the place just doesn’t seem managed well and employees, a company’s most valuable resource, clearly aren’t the least bit excited about being there. As such, they are providing barely average customer service. Our orders were messed up both times. Mistakes happen, I understand, but 2 out of 3 times just doesn’t seem ideal. If everything was like my first visit, this would become a regular place as I enjoy the interesting burgers. Maybe MooYah does better when it is busy? My first visit was a busy lunch visit, and people were moving with a purpose, extending greetings, and making it happen. Bring that back, and I’ll BE back.

They took over 25 minutes to make our burgers. Then they gave me a single burger with cheddar, bacon, avocado, jalapenos and ranch and I ordered a double with pepperjack, bacon, avocado, jalapenos and ranch. By the time my corrected burger came out, my whole family had finished their food.

Throughout that time our sweet potato fries never came out, until we were done and a kid came out and asked if everything was alright now and we had to remind them. When they brought them out they were regular fries.

The food was good but we won’t be back.

By the time we finished our food, the lady who came in after us by herself still hadn’t gotten her food. She went in and they told her they lost her ticket. She hadn’t gotten her food by the time we left.

They brought a random shake out to a person, by name, who hadn’t ordered it.

While we were finishing up, another group who hadn’t gotten their food was approached by a cook asking them to tell them again what they had ordered on their burger.

There were never any apologies except about messing up the fries.

I will preface this review by saying the food is good, aside from their buns, which are incredibly dry. I want to like this place more, but there are a few things that have culminated in my not returning there again:

I’ve been several times, and each time the door leading to the patio seating is downright nasty — the handles are unsettlingly sticky/greasy always. There’s also a glaze of unidentifiable substance on the glass from the children touching and smearing whatever was on their hands onto said glass. Unappealing at best.

Tables are always dirty with crumbs from the way-too-dry buns (seriously, the iceburger is the way to go — no dry bun there!) and dried ketchup.

I can’t complain about wait times, as I’ve never had too long of a wait for my food.

I did have one experience of placing an order online around 8:15pm (I usually wouldn’t order that close to closing time, but it was a helluva day!), only to show up and the store was closed. There was a crudely handwritten note on the door stating they closed at 8pm on that day. No explanation given. We were reimbursed for that order after contacting the manager, so I’m not too bothered by that, it was just annoying.

This place seems to be run by teenagers who can be apathetic about customer service, but it’s a burger joint, and its expected to a degree.
I don’t expect outstanding customer service, but when you have 6+ employees on staff, at least one of them should be out in the lobby wiping tables/door handles, and refilling the soap/tissue/towels in the bathroom — I have to wash my hands after touching that patio door!!

I do enjoy their food, but after the failed online order and the unappealing lobby conditions, I’ll go somewhere else for a while.

Went in last night w/my kid for dinner. Never been or hear of this place. Only 1 person in front of me when I placed our order. 2 burgers and some fries. Three ppl working, not busy at all. It took 24 min to get our food & the fries were semi warm. No apologies and not that great of a burger to wait that long. They missed the MARK big time. Will not be going back!

Enjoyed the burgers, and the young people running the register were super friendly and helpful. The fresh buns were a nice touch. I do wish there were some pre-designed burgers to choose from, rather than just a build-your-own menu. When I’m out with three hungry kids I don’t really have enough concentration to build anything interesting. Besides, you guys spend all day making burgers and probably eat more than a few yourself. It would be nice if you had a menu of a few of your favorites. Thanks!

Went in today around 1pm and ordered 3 burgers. Checked the bag in my car, and was missing one. No biggie, went back in to fix it. When I came back home, I was excited to eat my veggie burger…only to notice the avocado was missing!! Ugh waste of a dollar. I know it can be tough around lunch hour, so I try to be understanding of mistakes. The food was decent, so there’s a chance I will return. Hopefully the staff will be more careful next time.

Really surprised this location received any stars. There was no one there when we got there. We waited almost 20 mins for our food and I was fine with that. We received cold, not even close to warm, stale fries. Nothing on, other than the burger itself, was warm. Grilled onions, sauteed mushrooms, all straight from the fridge cold. The wheat bun was still partially frozen. Place was filthy. Bathrooms were horrendous. I actually should have taken pictures. White hand prints all over the door. I will say the kid who took our order was polite and nice.

First time at a Mooyahs, last time now. Food has the potential to be good but when you are not even busy, there is no excuse for cold stale food. moo

I made an online order an hour in advance, I arrive when I selected to pick up my food and they hadn’t even started it (yes I know they put fries in when you enter). There was only 1 other customer in the store so it wasn’t due to being busy. I didn’t want to believe all of the other reviews stating how slow service was but sadly it’s true. 25 min min later I have my 2 burgers and fry.
