This place was full of character! It felt like we had stepped back into an old saloon with peanuts all over the floor, moose and Buffalo heads on the wall, booths had names carved all over them. The bar was packed with people!

First-time experience. The bar atmosphere was good and fun. They serve beer and wine and ciders along with spiked seltzer. They serve fresh baked pizza’s along with sandwiches. They have gluten-free pizza options. They have salted peanuts to enjoy. Overall, it was a very cool spot that I would visit again good times.

It’s mixed reviews for our group. Tips for going, don’t expect anyone to be friendly (seriously) , I think this is part of the restaurant vibe. Don’t wear open toed shoes as there is garbage, peanut shells, spilled drinks and sawdust/shavings all over the floor. The staff don’t serve, It is a serve yourself place. They are not the most friendly either. We sat for a very long time until we realized they don’t come to the table. Pull up menu on your phone or move to a place you can sit and see the menu for kids/older. This is a great place for friends getting together. But maybe not an older crowd or kids as it’s hard to see, dark and uneven footing. The pizza was good, the Mexican pizza just had large chunks of toppings cut and put on it so we didn’t love it. The crust is good but the Pepperoni we ordered had minimal Pepperoni on it. (see photos) Overall, come with your young friends or drunk and it is a good fit. Not ideal for families with young kids, older people or large parties.

If you like old school Montana then go here – sawdust on the floor, very good bar seating, inexpensive beer (about 15 taps, excellent selection) and pizza or sandwiches to eat. The pizza was excellent!

Good laid back no care attitude here. So isn’t the service though. Find somewhere to sit and go up and order. Had the pizza. It was okay. Crust was a little undercooked. If you are looking for a busy place to grab some pictures of beer this is the place.

This place is iconic. Don’t judge a book by its cover. Peanut shells on the ground and some great pizza. It was family friendly and full the night we went there. Don’t sleep on the salad or sandwiches either. Staff was fast paced but still very friendly.

This place is legendary in Kalispell. Right on the main highway with lots of parking. They have plenty of beer on tap. It’s always packed here. Pizza is ok. Above average. Bit the sandwiches are also great and cheap. They give you peanuts to eat and the floor has inches of shells. So do not go if you’re allergic. They even have a store and sell lots of merchandise. They had ESPN 8 on when I was there. Classic.

Stopped in tonight on a recommendation. Great atmosphere, like the small town bars back home in ND! Bartender was on point, gave me a sample of a beer to try after a couple I’d picked and the recommendation was on point. Got a to go pizza and wow! Thin crust that still had crisp and chew to it, that held up and with just the right amount of toppings so they didn’t fall off. I’d rate higher if I could, will definitely come back again!

Grew up hearing of my family’s memories at Moose’s. My dad grew up in Kalispell and can talk of the good ol days at Moose’s for hours. It is where my parents first met. Thankful it is still the same great spot that now my husband and I go to whenever we are in town. Thank you, Moose’s!!
