Eastern style BBQ. basic Southern style comfort food. If you’re not into vinegar based pork, you probably shouldn’t be here, but there are other choices. The fried chicken is always moist, and they have Mac and cheese. The staff is friendly and there’s always fast service.

Moore’s was a very family friendly restaurant. The food is similar to that of Smithfield with a twist. The green beans are delicious with a slight kick. The restaurant atmosphere is also great. I will make it a point to stop there again when I pass thru Morehead, NC.

I’ll preface by saying I have eaten here 4 times. This will unfortunately be the last for various reasons. My family and I went through the drive through on a Saturday around 6 p.m. We ordered potato salad, coleslaw, hush puppies, mac n cheese, fried shrimp, corn bread, and sweet tea. It wasn’t cheap, but we ordered larges for everything. The worker was friendly, and the food was ready very quickly.

The food was pretty good for a fast food style BBQ, the menu was limited to just a few favorites. No bar but thats fine for the style. The playing card thin corn bread left something to be desired as it was tasteless which was surprising since the rest of the food was pretty good. The staff was accomodating as well.

Highly recommended! Visited for the first time and it was very good, big portions and their hush puppies are *chef’s kiss* amazing! The fried chicken was delicious and not dry, the fries were nice and crispy. My husband loved his sandwich too. I will definitely come back for more!

Associate working the drive through window “grunted” in frustration because I needed the price of hush puppies and Cole slaw. Then manager explained that it was hard for the associate to find the keys for the items in question. My husband and I both felt like we were an aggravation today!
