Absolute must go to restaurant if you’re passing through. I had a BBQ Turkey Reuben that was amazing for $7. The eggs Benedict were amazing as were the cheese shrimp and grits.

This place was on my list and I’m glad we made it! Such a cute, historic place. They have a limited menu but it’s totally worth it. They have an executive chef that knows his stuff! Everything from the food, services, atmosphere, table set up, was AMAZING!

We found this place 2-16-20 while staying in the area for the weekend. Wow, service awesome, food amazing, and some great wine. Very fresh, we had the steak specials (Bison, and Filet) the desert was great. The place is relaxing and the servers know just when to check in and very friendly. This will be our go to when we visit again to try the March menu.

Such an excellent dinner spent here, for the last night of our vacation. Reservations were easily made online. We were seated ahead of our reservation time and were immediately given great service with water, bread, and olive oil, followed by the arrival of the waitress to explain the menus. Small but tasty selection of beer of wine. I started with the ceviche, followed by the sirloin with chimichurri sauce, and ending with the Moonshadows Pie and a side of ice cream. Everything was tasty, and I thought reasonably priced for the quality of food and atmosphere. The Google description of “upscale yet casual” was spot on. Staff was attentive and responsive and the food excellent.

What a fantastic eating experience. Our waitress was kind and the service was fast. My partner and I enjoyed the Caponata appetizer (vegan and oh so delicious). For the main course, I had the Polenta Napoleon. The pesto was the perfect amount of creaminess for the dish and the freshness of the tomatoes contrasted the richness of the polenta cakes. You have to go to this place if you’re visiting Shenandoah/Luray!

A beautifully orchestrated meal with local wines (ox eye riesling was delicious!), local beef, vegetables and delicate spices from around the globe. Easily one of the most flavor-filled meals that I have had in a while. A must try if in the area.
