This is my favorite sushi spot. Everything I ate was so good. I’ve been searching for this place after the first time I ate there. I’m glad I found it again.

As a first time customer, I do not recommend. Lemon Pepper chicken is extremely salty and the grease taste old like they haven’t changed out the grease to cook then chicken in a while, which gave the chicken a burnt taste. The sushi I tried was called Bruce Lee. It had no taste was extremely bland. I dipped it in the soy sauce that was provided and it tasted a little bit better with that. Overall, I am not a satisfied customer.

As new residents of El Paso and major Sushi fanatics back home, we were a little surprised of the difference to what we were used to back in Los Angeles County, California. We ordered the Samurai, El Paso, Rainbow, White Devil and Salmon roll and lastly, a Ramen bowl with chicken and Tofu.

First off, the service was so kind. Ambience was soothing and peaceful. As for the quality of food, was the reason for the 3 stars. Wednesday rolls are super tiny, but again, it is a Wednesday special (Salmon roll and El Paso roll were small). A quarter coin was bigger.

Taste: I admit, the micro taste was very delightful. Presentation did not disappoint. We did notice that the ginger and wasabi were missing on the plates. I guess it is a California-thing to expect. The sushi trolls’ rice disappointed me a bit. The rice was a little too cold and not room temperature and had a slight hardness, which for us, it seemed it was yesterday’s rice. Or it could have been that it was not fully cooked.

The Ramen bowl was super salty, but since our loved one was a little dehydrated, it served her well. Sorry to give it 3 stars, but we sure miss our Japanese friends’ restaurant back in SoCal. We forgot to take photos due to being famished.

The gyozas (pork dumplings) were really good. The Philly roll didn’t have the cream cheese inside but on top of the roll? and the rice didn’t taste like it had rice vinegar and was really dry (I would hardly consider this authentic sushi). The ramen was the cheap noodles you get from the store and the veggies for it are a frozen veggie mix that isn’t normally found in authentic ramen dishes.

Do not recommend.
Ordered Salmon roll and Rainbow roll. Both had tough rice, some of it crunchy like it was old. The rice did not taste like it was seasoned at all. The fish on top the Salmon appeared to be oddly cubed on top unlike any roll I’ve ever seen, even compared to the Rainbow roll, where it is clearly wrapped around the top of the roll. The flavors were terribly balanced in the Salmon roll. It tasted like eating a mouth full of cream cheese and tough/crunchy rice. The flavor and texture of the fish in both rolls were akin to convenience store sushi.
Quality and price do not remotely equal out.
Would never recommend this place.

DO NOT RECOMMEND.
