The most beautiful place, view, atmosphere, ambiance, we had a live pianist this past Sunday night 3/1/26, he was excellent, thought it was a playlist of all the classical hits.

I chose Moonraker to celebrate my birthday, and it was an experience I’ll never forget. The view alone is breathtaking—arriving around 4:00 PM gave us the perfect chance to watch the sunset unfold, and it was absolutely magical.
From the moment we sat down, the service was extraordinary. My waiter, Daniel, set the standard for what hospitality should be. Our table was impeccably maintained, nothing dirty ever lingered for a second, and every dish arrived exactly as it should, perfectly timed and beautifully presented.
What truly set this experience apart happened after I paid the bill. I was in a rush to catch sunset photos and accidentally left my credit card behind. Daniel didn’t hesitate, he came all the way out to where I was taking pictures just to personally return it to me. That level of care and attention is beyond impressive and honestly far beyond what anyone would expect.
The service matched the beauty of the hotel, the restaurant, and the incredible people inside it. Everything felt special, elevated, and genuinely thoughtful. This wasn’t just a meal, it was an experience.
Special thanks to Daniel for going above and beyond in every possible way. I truly appreciate him, my birthday cake at the end was the icing on the cake, and Moonraker has earned a lifelong fan.

An amazing Valentine’s dinner! Pre fixe menu options with optional wine pairing was perfection. I loved all courses, but my faves were the scallops — sweet, meaty, & perfectly cooked, & the baked Alaska paired with a tawny port. Absolutely stellar.
The ambiance was great, with pianist Lee Allen playing all the classic romantic hits. Most importantly to me, was the amazing service. From the warm greeting & a single red rose from the host, to friendly & attentive staff, like our server David, it was such a pleasant evening!

First things first – service was outstanding. The woman whom we met at the front to seat us heard our plea for a window table, to take in the amazing coastside views this restaurant offers. After initially offering us bar seating that was all that was available, she checked once more and found us a table that had a wonderful view, of which we were able to get some pictures. We took care of her with a nice tip for her great work finding us this very cool table. This is all before the great meal we eventually sat for, which included the jumbo coconut prawns appetizer, which were amazing, then our main courses of chicken saltimbocca and prime steak fritte (fries). The saltimbocca was soaked in a cream sauce to die for, and the steak was so well delivered, with the cuts cooked perfectly by the chef – not too tender or firm/hard, just perfect for eating and enjoying. Broccolini and mashed potatoes, superb. And somehow the two of us easily finished a bottle of Meiomi Chardonnay that my lady loves and I hadn’t had before, and it was good and paired well with our meal. The fries were also yummy – just an amazing way we luckily were able to end our day at the coast on one of the few warm weather days we can get out there in first Half Moon Bay, then here at Moonraker in Pacifica. Great job Moonraker Pacifica, we shall be back soon!

I reserved a booth with a view for my birthday celebration and Moonraker did not disappoint. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. If you are visiting Pacifica, make sure you reserve seating with a view for your visit. The option is available on their website.

Food was alright, but the waiters had no patience. They kept taking away unfinished dishes without asking. We had to tell them multiple times that we were still eating. What made me most upset was that I had a plate of clearly unfinished seafood, and they just robbed it when I went to the restroom without even asking my friends. The waiters really need better training.
