Absolutely loved the atmosphere and service! It wasn’t exactly a very hidden speakeasy (I recommend reservations) but I would call it a very classy cocktail lounge. Loved every drink we got. The food was very good although it was priced at high end, it didn’t overly impress. Overall it was a great experience and I will be happy to go back again!

We had a very nice meal here! Atmosphere was cool, like a speak easy vibe. Different seating areas, bar, couches or tables. I had a dirty martini and my husband had their famous old fashioned, both delicious. Then we had a cesar salad and I had chicken parm with a substitute of the cavatapi noodles, so yummy! And my husband had their the filet, also very good.

We visited for our anniversary last week. The evening started a bit rough but ended very well.
We arrived early for our reservation and asked to sit at the bar for drinks first. We were told the bar was unavailable and were directed to the lounge, but then we watched the bar seats be given to other guests — including people who walked in after us who did not reserve the bar. That was disappointing since our plan was to enjoy cocktails and appetizers there before dinner. The lounge itself was also not very comfortable.
The lounge server briefly approached us and mentioned that since we would be dining in the dining room, he wouldn’t go over much information, then walked away. After waiting about 12 minutes without him returning, the host informed us our table was ready, so we decided to move.

Once in the dining room, the experience completely changed. Our waitress was wonderful — friendly, attentive, and organized. She first brought our cocktails and appetizers, then returned for our entrée and wine order, which felt much more thoughtful and paced.
The food was delicious from start to finish — flavorful and beautifully plated. The only small note is the artichoke dip could come with a little more bread.

Overall, I’m still giving 5 stars because I’ve had great experiences here before. The bar, cocktails, and bartenders are usually fantastic, and the dining room service and food were excellent this visit.

Our cocktails were very good and the staff was nice, otherwise it was pretty rough. We tried the artichoke dip which was not heated through all the way and was 90% cheese and 10% artichoke. I had the creole salmon/shrimp which was cooked well but under-seasoned – acceptable for $30. My wife had the ribeye which was under-seasoned and somehow very chewy even though it was cooked rare – total ripoff for $50. The vibe in the lounge looked fun but the restaurant itself was drab with old tables and we were offered a booth seat with a collapsed cushion. I’m totally willing to pay pretentious hipster prices if I can get some pretentious hipster food in a nice environment. Moody’s offers neither. It’s basically Applebees masquerading as a hipster spot. If I were rating it as a cocktail bar I’d give it four stars but would only rate it one star as a restaurant. I’m sure (based on previous review responses) that the owner will say I should’ve raised my concerns with the wait staff. I think that what the owner needs to understand is that a couple who is willing to spend $150+ on a date night doesn’t want some awkward interaction where they have to beg the staff for food quality that matches the price they’re being charged – they just finish their one-time experience and never come back

What a fun find in Grand Junction! Very cool and cozy vibe. Server was friendly and attentive. We all chose different dishes and shared a little. We enjoyed each one! Started dinner with the fried oyster mushrooms – delicious! Salmon, chicken piccata and Filet were wonderful. Finished off with Tiramisu. Loved the drinks, loved the food, loved the vibe. Our college student even agreed . Thank you Moody’s for a wonderful night!

This place was such a vibe! Make a reservation if you can but they did have availability when we walked in without one. The food here is topnotch! Everything was delicious! The drinks were amazing. The servers was excellent. They have two different entrances. We came in the front near the street parking. Definitely recommend making a stop here if you are in there area!

I have never been to this lounge before. Speakeasy. However, I can see myself going back and visiting this place again. Really interesting set up and layout for the speakeasy. I would recommend everyone check it out if you’re in downtown Grand Junction.

This is modeled after a 1920s speakeasy. We went for after dinner drinks and the lounge atmosphere is cozy and comfortable with their seating. They had a pretty good drink selection of cocktails, wine and beer. You can easily talk. The waiter was attentive and kept the drinks coming and checked in often

This was a cool find in Grand Junction. The decor of the place could use a little work but overall it was a nice, cozy spot.

Service was good – attentive and helpful.

I had the Filet steak and it was very good. My wife had the salmon plate and enjoyed that a lot. Cocktails were spot on albiet expensive, just like every other speakeasy joint out there.
